That's a cracking find, Nick. The game really does look to be excellent. A few things that I spotted:

> The match setup menus appear to be similar to 2015 but perhaps a bit tidier
> The team setup screen allows players to be swapped and positioned with ease; far better than before
> Kit shirts look like a fabric rather than being pasted onto a body
> The animation seems to have been improved with some additional moves
> The electronic advertising boards are just as annoying as in real life!

I can't wait for this to launch in Septemeber. Pre-ordered 8-) .

This looks great from the videos so far. The only thing that will really disappoint me is if they still have Defenders that have auto catchup switched on.

I'm playing my 8th Master league season at the moment, and Sterling is rated over 100 in Speed and acceleration, yet all defenders are able to catch him up, even if he has a 5 yard head start.

Quick players should be able to stitch up slow defenders. They need to sort this.

Also, the CPU needs to suffer from Fatigue as well. I want their Players to get knackered and start to make mistakes. I'm not sure they currently do. I want to be able to spot a tired player and take advantage of it.

PES 2010, the low point of the series.

Isn't that just manually applying pressure? I do it all the time to close them down quickly. Just watching that video, it reminds me of a pes that maybe isn't as realistic but for me was more rewarding. The players and ball can be pinged around with ease but it feels like every player moves in unison so you can't easily get in behind. I don't find in pes2015 that defenders catch up, mydefenders online are always so inept to intercept through balls despite close marking. It is unbalaced to favour the forward and it's not based on speed. It's just such vertical counter attacking powr football which i'm convinced is to do with the develop ers aiming for the bayern\man city style, because pes2012 was obviously so fcussed in allowing you to play like Barcelona .Ultimately , i feel like with 2015 when i lose the ball it's because of the player reactions being so slow, they're trying to make it so you have to consider the easier pass beceause to ping the ball around at speed endlessly isn't realistic..but maybe it's more fun. You can do anything you want but you know that space will be tight.

See the speed thing is a tricky one to do although i think fifa15 actually nailed it, fast players can get away but not always and they can be out muscled easily as most fast players aren't strong. The balance you have to get though has to be so accurate otherwise it becomes what i think fifa 11 or 12 was and every single fast player can just out do everyone. PES maybe needs to add a bit more sprint speed to fast players so a quick shift of pace gets them away.

I think PES 2015's acceleration build up nailed it, if you react quickly and start sprinting, you'll get away quickly from a defender who wasn't anticipating the play and either had to turn at the last second or start his sprint late.

Momentum is the main thing that separates PES from FIFA for me.

This is £31.99 at Game Collection, who have always been speedy whenever I have used them. Any better deals about?

That's a cracking price. I think I'll go digital, though - it's one of my "go-to" titles and it's nice to have it on the drive.

Anyone know when the demo is out for this? Really cannot wait to play what is probably my most anticipated videogame this year, along with Yakuza 5!

I'm pretty excited too, gamerforever! I don't think Konami has announced a demo date yet. For the first time that I can remember, PES will launch ahead of FIFA this year. PES 2016 will arrive on 18 September, with FIFA 16 arriving a week later on 25 September. That's quite a bold move by Konami - last year the game launched in November.

A key aspect is that the game is slick right from launch; the past three releases have sufferred from very poor deliveries with online problems and gameplay issues. The subsequent patches corrected these aspects but, understandably, players had gotten frustrated and moved on. Konami has to be a lot sharper this time around.

Yep, agree with that, but it applies to pretty much all developers and publishers this generation - the habit of releasing incomplete games has to stop, especially when it affects the single player element. It is unfair that a gamer without an internet connection (although unlikely) cannot play the full game. This is even more annoying now that we are paying at least £5 more than we did on last generations games in it's first few years.

The videos seen so far have me very excited and the full edit mode means we have the best of both worlds - gameplay and authenticity. We will, however be relying upon some edit mode wizards to complete the experience for us as I don't have the time to spend on such things, especially when there;s Witcher 3 in my PS4.

What impresses me the most from the videos released is how fun it looks to play and also how unscripted a lot of the action looks. Apparently the responsiveness has been turned up a notch or two as well, which can only benefit us gamers!

I hope it means the xbox one gamers switch to pro evo now too. The days of fifa are at an end. Ofcourse the tide will turn in a few years when ea sports decide to concentrate on the gameplay rather than gimmicks.

It's cute to think that but FIFA has to make a complete balls up for pro evo to take over. I'm more than happy to have two good football games available but PES2015 was an improvement but only on previous versions and not on FIFA.

See now on that video it's showing Germany vs Brazil. Germany are in their licensed kit and Brazil are in theirs. So why does the match presentation show the national flags instead of the actual football association badges (that are on the kits)? They've obviously got the license to use them, so why aren't they?

I know it's totally unimportant and nit-picky, but little amateurish things like this grind my gears with PES, so lacking in polish and attention to detail.

Nice stuff, man. I didn't realise that Goal Storm was re-badged from being the first Winning Eleven in Japan! I knew that Goal Storm was the precurser of PES, but I hadn't known that it actually qualifies as being the first game in the series. I know that it gets confusing after that, as ISS Pro grew to become PES in Europe!

I really wish that Neymar wasn't the lead advertising face for PES. I already thought that he was so full of himself, and all that prancing around on the vid... bleurgh!
