I promised a picture of my other cat, she's called Lotty and the feather duster on the previous page is called Yogi.

That's her right now sitting under the bit on my desk below my moniter. My old cat used to lay there :( . She's about 7 years old now, but she's still only a little bit bigger than a kitten, she's really sweet.

One nearest is Bramble (a beagle), the white one is Dudley and he's part beagle part something else (we think terrier)

True, but they absolutely HATE being left alone. Or at least my Godmother's did. They had to have him put down as he (for example) broke through the garage door when they left him there (when they were at work/school).

Anyway, I have a brown mongrel, called Sox. My mum and I recently realised that he's probably got a bit of Rhodesian Ridgeback in him, when we originally thought he was probably mainly Labrador (but he's slim, rather than fat like most labs get). He's 11 now, so getting on a bit, but I love him dearly!

This is him on the decking:

And again, on the decking (he gets put out there when he's been naughty):

This is him in the bath (he hates baths, but I kinda like giving him them apart from the fact that it kills my back!):

And in my car, on the way to the park for a walkie... (Getting dog hairs all over the seat!):

:D

:D my dog is ridiculously calm - a million miles from the stereotypically slobbering, attention-seeking dog that most people think of.

Besides, did you see that program about pedigree dogs and the inbreeding that results, a few days ago? Crazy to think that mongrels are looked down on. The fact that it sounds like a derogatory term doesn't help I guess.

I want a pet :( I'd get a cat but I'm at work all day and it might be cruel.

Yeah, it wouldn't be cruel at all.

Adult cats are independent but kittens still get upset if you leave them for a too long.
