I'm not even sure what the criteria for what makes a "true gamer" actually is. I think those who use it have different ideas as to what qualifies. Some bone head on Eurogamer's comments recently claimed "those who aren't playing RDR2 on a Pro or X aren't" true gamers". :fp:

I guess the underlying concern is that a purchased studio is creatively and financially at risk because the staff and IPs have not been nurtured in-house.

Obviously a "True Gamer" is someone who had the good sense to buy a Spectrum 128K.
If you don't own one then you should be shunned by all "True gamers".
