In regards to the whole pip thing , I was on DLA and went through assessment etc for PIP at Christmas time. They awarded it me but only till Christmas 2019 my DLA was for about 5 years.... Most of my stuff will never improve but they love to make you jump through hoops

Yeah some of my issues are exacerbated by other issues that are permanent but they look at the day to day part and essentially assume you will get better which isn't true. I dread the day I get some gooseberry fool like "but you have a girlfriend", "but you run a business". Yeah because I'm awesome and I try incredibly hard regardless. :(

I do have difficulty reading and digesting information in letters for example but they say, "you're educated to degree level. You do not need help with this". Actually I failed twice and got back in on appeal and succeeded with 7 hours per week learning support that was not provided before, making it a pretty clear cut case I struggle. :|

Loving the look of those EX and GX cards. Are they shiny all over? I'm such a sucker for foil cards...

Yeah, they're all foil, and they have texture (raised patterns) too. They're really strawberry floating nice to run your fingers over (though obviously you keep them sleeved and don't damage them if you can avoid it.) It's hard to photograph but the gold prints sort of show it.

Downside is they're more expensive... upside is they look gorgeous.

Picked up Trouble Will Find Me by The National on vinyl today to go with their debut album that I received as a present last week - yes I am a hipster. Pics of both to follow.

Was in our local GW store the other weekend picking up a handful of acrylics for my drawings, (discovered the ones I still own are pretty good for more than just toy soldiers, so decided to pick up some more). I was stunned at how much everything has gone up in price! No doubt that lot cost you a fair whack.

Try ordering vajello mate, bit thinner to make them easier to use for airbrush but they are cheaper and basically made to match citadel. Try Amazon, hobby craft etc

Better range of primers and sprays etc

If you like the thickness etc what you want is artists full body acrylics, windsor and Newton etc maybe 30 quid but watering down model paints is a good shout if they're small paints.

And tamiya thin better and produce a nice lacquer. I think you need acetone or some other solvent though, water just makes them gloupy (which he the nice thing about citadel paints, they are extremely thin yet great coverage. Spit works great ;) )

Thanks for the tips, bud. I've heard of Vajello, but never used them. I will take a look. Used W&N, but they're damn expensive to use regularly.

If you use full body they have much more pigment so you can water them down to go a lot further than standard tubes.

Similar thing for concentrated watercolour tubes. Tiny things, go ages. Usually stick around for years unless you're prolific.

Picked up a Switch with Mario Odyssey today. Will procrastinate about setting it up forever, fail to remember my Nintendo account info, then go sulk for a bit.
