Plans for the Jubilee weekend

I keep hearing everyone saying "I'm so excited about the Jubilee celebrations!", and seeing as I'm unaware of said celebrations, and uninterested as well, perhaps you lot can enlighten me. What are your four-day weekend plans?

I'm WFH today, and chilling out tonight. Then...

Saturday: Watching sport, playing 360.
Sunday: See above.
Monday: Probably out with the family somewhere.
Tuesday: See above, and travel back to my place (currently with the 'rents for the weekend)

Hopefully, though, it'll be busy, what with people throwing parties, especially if the weather can stay dry, and we'll sell them all loads of wine and do bonus this month. Hopefully.

Sunday: if sunny Xbox (missus will be at a boot sale) if rainy hating life as inlaws will decend to watch teh strawberry floating flotilla thing

Is anyone partaking in a street party? I know one person who's got one going on in his road, and he's not exactly looking forward to it. Doesn't fancy hanging out with his neighbours. :lol:

Theres a big street party on the saturday and sunday here, with tribute bands playing on the town hall balcony. Our local has a free BBQ going and there is a local beer festival running the whole weekend with live music and food.

tl;dr food, beer & music.

Tonight: Tidy apartment for friend popping over from the US
Saturday: In the city doing stuff, off to explore the London gay scene in the evening.
Sunday: Waving to the Queen on the river
Monday: Off to Hyde Park to watch the concert.

Bugger all. I'm skint and not in the mood to celebrate. I shall mainly be attempting to build a website for my company (haven't a clue where to start) and walking the dog a lot. Oh, and watching the whole of Homeland which I've had taped for a while. Bah, humbug.

Couldn't care less about the Jubilee crap any more than I give a single damn about the Olympic bollocks. However, I'm off to spend the weekend with my older brother and his family. Not all bad, then.

On study leave for acca exams. Funtimes ahead! :cry:

Saturday: Bro picking us up in the morning to stay at parents, Jubilee lunch at the community centre, meeting friends at the park in the afternoon and then off to the pub.
Sunday: Loaf around. Hopefully I'll squeeze in a game of WH40k with my sister.
Monday: Day trip to Alvaston Castle or Markeaton Park (TBA)
Tuesday: Come home. Need to find a way to get the missus out of the house between 5-7pm so I can watch the Nintendo Conference.

Tonight: Donning my rent-a-tux for an awards ceremony.
Saturday: Back to the gym. Book accommodation for Jay-Z & Kanye next weekend. Round of golf if the weather holds out.
Sunday: Lounge about.
Monday: Back to work. EEEEEE THREEEEEE

I intend to sit on my own throne and have a dump for a combined total of 60 minutes - 1 minute for every year the old cow has been ruling.
