Saturday: Got the landscapers coming to finish off setting the lawn, Im on Daddy duty for the day so not sure if Im better off staying home to assist or getting out of the house.
Sunday: Theres a mini Lego convention near me so I might go check that out with the little one, if I dont do that Ill be doing something else with her. Damn kids and their need to be entertained.

Friday - Cleaning, then going out for dinner with the other half. I don't want to go.
Saturday - Lunch with a friend. Different friends coming to our flat at night. I don't want them to come.
Sunday - Mum and brother are away to a medical conference in Switzerland in the morning, so driving them to the airport and looking after Lokes for the week.
Bank holiday Monday - combination of work, chilling with Loki and writing an article.

Last romantic thing - err, same as Rax! Other than that, probably on the missus' birthday when I surprised her with a day out and tickets to two gigs she didn't think she would be able to go to.

Basically I'd like to spend the next couple of days writing so I don't have to do it next week, but commitments have been made. I will definitely enjoy myself regardless but this weekend I've decided to be misanthropic. :slol:

Up to Newcastle on Saturday morning to see uni friends :toot: (£100 and 5 hour train :dread:)

Last weekend was my girlfriend's birthday and we went away to Amsterdam. I put up banners and balloons in the hotel room while she was in the shower, we went for a walk down the canals and round Vondelpark, spent a couple of hours in the Van Gogh museum, then went for a steak dinner where they did a surprise birthday dessert

Nothing more romantic than reading about a guy who cut his own ear off then shot himself

Wife is off to Luxembourg to visit friends tomorrow, so the plan so far is;

SAT: Video games until my eyes burn out. Last time she was away I spent three nights up till 4am playing FFXV. Same again this time, but with Yakuza 0 probably.
SUN: Video games until the arvo, then off to play board games with some mates
MON: Wife returns, so I suppose I should do some writing and stuff.

Last romantic thing, bought said wife a lemon tree, some artisanal fruit juices and a care package of English foods that she misses for her birthday.

Friday: Work prep and Xbox
Saturday: Print tshirts. Food prep for the week.
Sunday: Lay some sleepers in the garden and fix them down, Wire up some deck LEDs, maybe lay some more slabs if I can be bothered.
Monday: Remove sink and cabinet in one of my bathrooms and put in a kitchen counter type setup in it's place. And maybe plumb in a new sink if I get time.

Last romantic thing was probably going to Poland a few months ago with my ex Girlfriend for her boob job

Friday: Just finished an early shift. Home to unpack from Japan, do a food shop and repack for a weekend at a lodge with pals in the Scottish countryside. Head up tonight, have some drinks and pamper ourselves.

Saturday: my best pal gets married. I’m a bridesmaid so eat and celebrate and get drunk and probably very high with her mother.

Sunday: Hangover, check out of lodge and come back home. Unpack again and do good shop for the house because I miss cooking. Book some shifts for the week ahead so I can pay my bills after a month of luxury.

Most romantic thing: Saying our ‘kind of vows’ over champagne in a sky bar in Tokyo.

Least romantic thing: Dropping, then trying to catch said champagne on my face. And my dress. And the chair.

That's the abridged version of it. I skipped other parts like when I was left with a hotel bed absolutely covered in blood and it was a Sunday (when the shops in Poland are closed) :shifty:
