What synth is it, Cal?

Tonight: My younger sister's coming round, having just got back from a year in Russia for her degree. We're going to drink a lot of wine and watch The Witch.

Saturday: Meal out somewhere with my girlf, haven't decided where yet. Will hopefully get to play some Inside and Uncharted 4.

Sunday: Sunday roast, obvs, then some noodling around with my music stuff.

Positive change: MOAR MONEY, pliz.

Today is Canada Day (yes that's a thing) so going downtown for a rooftop barbecue and watch the fireworks.

Tomorrow I'll go to Little Italy to get drunk and watch Italy lose to Germany.

Sunday I have to go to some fancy horse race thing. My friend works for a charity that is running the event so free alcohol :)

Life change: just one? Hmm. Eat less gooseberry fool maybe. Or quit smoking. Maybe drink less.

You aren't gooseberry fool, jawa. You're a top bloke.

This thread hasn't turned out as I intended, BTW. I think I worded it incorrectly. It was more along the lines of "if you had one wish and could change any one thing about your life, what would it be"? But it's still interesting to see peoples' replies.

Just because she was in Russia for a year doesn't make her a witch.

Friday: Sleeping
Saturday: Getting my beard trimmed, going to the gym and maybe pick up some sushi for lunch
Sunday: absolutely naff all, probably just chill and play video games

Positive change: the only thing I want to change is something I'm already working on which is losing weight.

Today: got bank account sorted, got paid, got gym. Now going to get drinks and watch Wales lose.
Tomorrow: pool party/ gay pride event
Sunday: gym and prep work. Hopefully feel ok dependent on Saturday's substances.

Where to begin, probably health gooseberry fool. Which is partly linked to not having weed - so, I'll go with getting a decent dealer again. Pretty achievable.

Today - work till 8, then gym, then maybe a film or some GoT.

Tomorrow - get in and about the chapter I'm not writing for dissertation, watch football, maybe more GoT

Sunday - dissertation again, perhaps even more football.

If I can get the chapter I'm writing finished and the fourth one out of the way by 15th July, I can hopefully finish the whole thesis by the end of the month. Which would be a cracking achievement.

What I'd change: toss up really between having my PhD, losing the rest of the belly or being more generally confident/having more people skills. Probably the last one.

Tonight - dinner and Malcolm in the middle till I fall asleep.

Tomorrow - drive up to some tiny village in the right north of Scotland with my pals. Beach and maybe visit the post office, being about the only thing around for strawberry floating miles.

Sunday - nature stuff probably. More booze.

Monday - drive back and finally spend a few hours with Anung.

Positive change: be able to delegate stuff and trust it to be done.

Tonight - get drunk
Tomorrow - get haircut, pick up new car, do monthly big shop, get laundry done.
Sunday - relax before going back to work on Monday.

Positive change: Stop being so strawberry floating flighty. Give myself the chance to develop in a job rather than always looking for something new and having to start at the bottom again every single time.

Friday - did nothing as finished work annoyingly late which pissed me off to no end.

Saturday - not much during the day, probably food shopping. A wall and gelato. Then off for a friends leaving do in the evening for Aperitivo whilst watching the Italy game.

Sunday - free entry to all museums in Rome, so will probably pick one I've not been to yet. Or just hide from the sun.

Positive chance... Hmmm. Probably having a better back and no sciatica. There are more interesting things I'd change but this one causes the most grief. To be able to sit down and be comfortable is something I would love to feel again. Seems like forever ago I sat down and just... sat. Not moving and turning to try get comfy.

Today: on my way to work for a few hours to ensure things are running smooth. After I'm at a friends wedding evening, should be fun but littered with colleagues.

Tomorrow: work again. I'll be catching up on some Xbox one and football as best I can.

Positive change: stop spending all my money on beer

Saturday: Trip to Virgin Media shop to get new Internet set up. Friend's birthday dinner this evening -- Vietnamese food.
Sunday: Work.

Positive change: I would wish for no more deadlines. :shifty:

I initially read this as flirty instead of flighty and was left really confused.

I initially read it as fighty, and assumed he'd lamped another lass in a pub, or something.

Friday - watched wales beat belgium. Got very drunk.
Saturday - done some last minute touristy gooseberry fool in toronto now I'm waiting for my flight home.
Sunday. Arrive in london. Drive home. Sort gooseberry fool out. Go to pub for tea.

One positive change? I have (like everyone else) lots of confidence issues. If I would make one change it would be to stop thinking so much and overanalysing every situation. I think then I'd be better with everything in life, from catching a good girl to doing my job better.
