The last few episodes of Idle Thumbs since coming back from the Christmas break have been kind of lacklustre, it sounds like all three of the hosts are feeling burnt out recently, especially Chris.

Episode 300 is next week but I have a sinking feeling it might not stick around for much longer. Hope I'm wrong.

I've stopped listening to Idle Thumbs and the Comedy Button. Bombcast is being downloaded automatically every week but I usually don't have time so the episodes automatically get deleted after a month.

It's just the Bugle and No Such Thing As A Fish now.

I wanted to check out the Giant Beastcast and see how it turned out with Ryckert but I'm mostly happy that GB-West is free of him now.

Well I was only half wrong. They've just announced episode 300 (not this week) will be the last episode of Idle Thumbs. They will instead continue with the same crew but as a rebranded general subject podcast that may contain some video game stuff, if it naturally comes up.

The number of gaming podcasts I actively listen to these days is down to 3 (CAGcast, PlayerOne and 8-4). I dip into Cane & Rinse if I've played the game or won't ever play it. I've also started listening to Final Games which I like very much, I'd recommend checking it out.

Someone turned me on to A Life Well Wasted recently. This is incredible, I wish there was more of this. As much as I love the round table conversation format the oral essay format suits gaming so well.
