But... the Pro version is black, isn't it? I think it's only one model (slim, 1Tb) that had the silver top casing?

I have no idea. Sony have labelled them all as "Jet Black". I would have thought they'd have shown off some photos of the Pro if it also had GT branding on it, even if it was GT branded but 100% black. All rather ambiguous. To put "Jet Black" on the box, next to a predominately silver machine, is actually retarded.

I think it's just the Slim 1Tb that has the silver and the branding; the other packs are plain ("Jet") black - although still with a copy of the game, of course.

The controller is being sold separately, and also packaged with the game.

I wasn't suggesting the "Jet black" text wasn't odd for the black and silver version, dude... just indicating that the other versions are plain black :) .

It would have been so much better as all silver.

As it's a Faceplate, it's no doubt been much easier and cheaper to run a load of those off the production line and stick it on a standard PS4 slim, rather than having to colour the whole system. Hasn't stopped them putting a premium price of £300 on it though according to GAME...

Currently you can pick up a PlayStation 4 1TB with Horizon, Dishonored 2, Fallout 4, Doom and a 2 month NOW TV Entertainment Pass for the same price.

Microsoft are also taking the piss, but at least a lot more effort has gone into their Minecraft version.

All this talk of Paris Games Week reminds me I went to the show in 2015 and took a lot of show floor footage - I really should get around to editing it!

I've not been following the recent development of GT Sport. Does it not have all the features of a full GT game?

Uhm... this game doesn't have a thread... and no-one else will be interested anyway.... but a new single-player mission pack is launching for Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 on 5 September. It looks pretty good!

I like all kinds of games, dude :-). Having grown up playing some *really* bad games from the late 70s onwards, most games today seem pretty fantastic! But, yeah, I do hold a fondness for the more, uh, lets say "BBB" games  .

It's a GT prologue game under a different name, but the hard-core GT fans will try to tell you otherwise.

That's a superb deal! I guess you can use the £20 discount voucher, too.

£20 is included in the price. If you were to sell the extras, including the controller, it should get the price down to around £250. I had a load of Clubcard points though, so hopefully it's only going to cost me £230.

That's a pretty decent deal. Only thing is, it's got me wondering if there is a better one round the corner when the XBox whatever it's called launches.

Probably fuelled by kaz's statements about it being the new direction for gt and that odd video where they slag off their own older games for being car collectathons. Have they never played a racing game online before? Its always total mayhem rather than the srs bsnss they want to think it is.
