Yeah PSN does not impress me at all. Especially when they have my 30 snoops subscription money hostage.

If it's free yeah that's cool but I don't pay for maintenance at peak times!

So I only learned about the destiny always online thing today.

I have appalling internet at home, so if I plan to spend my first night as a ps4 owner playing destiny, I'll be looking at a full overnight patch for the day one thing :dread:

Or I can unbox it and update it while at work thus completely losing out on dat new console feel.

Online gaming :simper:

Anybody else had a problem with their pad malfunctioning? my PS4 seems to think I'm using the right analog stick when I'm not...makes for interesting games of FIFA 14 when your player starts doing step overs randomly.

I've had the analog sticks rubber crumbling before (this is also happening again did Sony even play test these?) but this is new.

Will phone Sony on Monday and sort out it getting replaced for a second time!

Had a problem with one of my PS3 controllers, would sometimes start moving you forwards. Really handy in Dead Space where you could walk into instant death.

Yes?

My heavy handedness + DIII RoS = R2 hinge is loose :(

It still works but now causes false presses where I take finger off trigger but it remains pressed. I can get it to stopp being pressed but y'know, it's still broken. I do have another pad but would rather not have to send the whole bundle off. Which if Amazon won't agree to means... I have to deal with Sony customer services.

 :dread:

Just left Amazon chat and... I'm getting a brand new pad for nothing (they'll deduct the cost off original PS4 order). And I get to keep the old one.

At first they said I should deal with Sony (which I kind of expected them to say). I told them Sony would replace it but their customer service was awful compared to Amazon, that I'd be on hold for 20 minutes before even speaking to anyone and to top it all off I'd have to pay the postage (which is what I was told when I called them about the peeling rubber). He asked me to hold the line and then came back with the amazing news of a free pad. He even found the correct sold by Amazon link for me.

Viraj/Amazon

It arrived this morning. Amazon.

Sending old one off to Sony on Wednesday.

Much love for Amazon. No need for anywhere else, amazing customer service and pretty much everything you could ever need at competitive prices. I even get my fish food from them.

strawberry floating Amazon.

Oh come on if they paid tax they couldn't spend the money they save trying to do crazy gooseberry fool like deliver stuff by flying robots.
Also they would most likely stick an extra tenner on the cost of prime if the bothered paying tax.

Moved in new house yesterday and Virgin reconnected us the same day we moved in (and gave us a 6 month discount on our package for arsing about on the phone for about an hour and a half)

I assume whoever built your house for you had some sort of arrangement with Virgin to do a lot of the work in advance of the property being finished.

Nah, wasn't even a phone line in the house.

Good luck with the move anyway, my heads still battered from boxes being everywhere. But at least the PS4 is set up (was the first thing actually..) priorities :datass:

Does anyone know if I stream to Ustream/Twitch I can archive stuff?

I want to be able to edit videos and then put them on YouTube.

Twitch automatically saves your streams for some amount of time. While they're there you can create highlight videos which I believe are saved forever, and there's a built in function to upload them to YouTube.

Ps4 reaches 250 million sold and the sales figures are reset to attract more customers.
