Just a heads-up for folk who are taking advantage of the current price reduction for a PS Plus annual subscription... remember to turn-off automatic renewal after you have redeemed the code - even if you have turned it off before. Sony automatically turn it back on every time you redeem a code ( :fp: ). If you don't manually turn it off, Sony will automatically charge you the full subscription cost (currently £39.99) when your current subscription ends.

Go into Settings > PlayStation Network/Account Management > Account Information > PlayStation Subscriptions > PlayStation Plus and then "Turn Off Auto-Renew".

What's the current Plus sub offer? Mine runs out soon.

You can buy an annual digital download code from ShopTo for £27.85 or from Amazon (and other retailers) for £29.99.

I purchased from ShopTo but, for some unknown reason, it wouldn't allow me to pay using my debit card - I had to use PayPal.

I thought the ShopTo one was going to be a digital download, but the emails since purchasing suggest it's being posted :?

If you ordered the download code version, ignition, you should just need to logon to ShopTo, select Account and then Orders, click on the order and then click the Activate Code button; your code will then appear.

They're selling codes for £26.99 on Electronic First and you get a code emailed within 3 hours.

Likely BS but Sucker Punch's game may have leaked. A bit.

I like the use of vivid colours at least.

All it needed was to be tilted to the right slightly and it would be the perfect, bona-fide, genuine leak.*

*Leak authenticity not guaranteed.

Had no idea this was even in the works, let alone due in August. One of several titles making me think about investing in a gaming PC. Can't wait to pick this up. Hopefully it transitions well to console.

The TV & Video section has had a revamp this morning...and not for the better, in my view. It was already slower to load during the last major update, and now it's just an excuse to try and flog you sponsored content and PlayStation movie rentals.

To get to the classic view, you've got to scroll along the top of your most used apps and select "all apps".

Wish you could rearrange the apps, though. I don't have Now TV and I've got no interest in it, so it's still frustrating to have to scroll past it to get to an app that I *do* use.

Jesus, it was bad enough already. :fp:

How are the apps you actually have installed on the system not at the top at all times? It's so strawberry floating dumb.

It's completely strawberry floating maddening.

In some ways it had improved, though: there was a while there when, even if you had an app, you had to get past a prompt to download it to get to the app itself. :fp:

Anyone finding the OS has been really slow lately? Everything takes an age to load
