It was crazy to release the Pro, while banging on about 4K and then not include a UHD drive. :fp:

It seems that Sony has delayed the payment for the "Spend £50 in March and get £10 in April" offer. Codes were meant to be issued yeterday and today via PSN, but a message in the PS Store is saying that they've been delayed and that codes will instead by issued by email "in the next few days".

Mistakes happen and I'm not too fussed, but it feels like some folk may be frustrated given that this was a sales promotion that encouraged people to spend more money in the Store.

Thats annoying I was hoping to pick up seasons 1&2 of Telltales The Walking Dead with it.

I didn't actually think I'd spent £50 though so it came as a surprise when Sony emailed to say I was getting £10 added to my wallet.

Consoles do seem to be pretty stable nowdays. 3DS and PS4 have both had "stability" updates this week.

Free Horizon Zero Dawn when you buy a Pro at Amazon, Argos or Game (online). I haven't really seen any Pro bundles up to now, so it seems an OK offer.

I had missed this news - apparently the PS4 console will now come with a 1Tb hard drive as standard rather than the 500Gb drive that has been the default since the system launched.

Combined with the recent software update that allows an external drive to be used, storage is now much more manageable on the console. Hoorah!

I think my launch DS4 is knackered. It won't hold a charge at all, but does work if plugged into the console.

Has anyone successfully replaced their battery? Any recommendations re which one to get? I'd quite like an upgrade if possible.

Has anyone else noticed a problem when playing video from a USB that the sound gradually loses sync with the picture? It appears to happen around the 1 hour mark. The video then needs to be restarted and it's fine.

I get that occasionally but it doesn't happen every time.

It's more annoying that there are so many unsupported formats. Don't Sony want us to be able to watch pirate movies and TV shows? :x :x

Weirdly, I had a tonne of films on which the audio wouldn't work, so I was looking at the painstaking process of converting them. But then tried again just after the recent big update and they were all working ok. So not sure if they updated the codec support or something.

I read Eurogamer's report about the PS Plus games for May being Abzu and Tales from the Borderlands :toot: ...

... and they've now advised that UK / European gamers will get Alienation instead of Abzu.

Oh, Sony :( :x :fp: .

Actually glad about that, bought Abzu last month in the sale and haven't played it yet.
