Do you shut it down or just drop it into sleep mode?

Shut it down every time I'm finished using.

Perhaps it'd get better if they let you delete all the strawberry floating bloatware.

Shut it down every time I'm finished using.

Not that then, I'd always assumed it was just a really bad at freeing up memory.

No issues here. Your consoles are broken and need to be destroyed.

Sometimes when I've been doing various things on the PS4 (using its web browser, watching Netflix/Amazon, and even playing games :o), I will find that it is slower to respond. The prime example of this is how PS Store/What's New will take an absolute age to load. Simplest solution I have found for it is to log out and back in to my profile.

The GF got me a PS4 with Watch Dogs 1/2 on it for Christmas, and the most I've used it is for Netflix :fp: I feel like since I've had it I never have the time to sit down and play, and any game takes at least an hour to settle into/make any progress :( That and I guess I'm getting older

I played Watch Dogs 1 for a bit but didn't really get into it, but would like to finish it before playing #2 as it's currently sealed up still. Instead I've found myself playing PS3 games on the other console more, very frustrated that I can't play my PS3 collection on the Playstation 4. (Like the MGS collection  )

I have invested some time in a free to play 3v3 Basketball game I got off the store, that was quite fun to dive into. I picked up MGS V (after hating the game and finishing it onthe PS3 but was sold on the graphics and have played a few hours and quite enjoying it, but again it's quite a long winded game to play), WWE 2K17 which again isn't capturing my interest, and BattleFront.

I dont' know what the purpose of this post is other than making me realize I'm growing up, acting like I'm 40 odd (no offence implied to anyone :P ) and I now have a PS4. :slol:

There are a tonne of great games on the PS4 that might be easier to dip in and out of than something like Watchdogs, especially if you like shooters such as Resogun, Stardust, or Alienation (I'm a massive Housemarque fan - other developers are available).

I'm 38 and have a 15 month old kid, ie I'm as equally time poor as you - maybe less heavyweight, scoreboard-based games are the way forward.

I blame females. Being single and nothing better to do means you can just dedicate hours and hours into other worlds. Like skyrim.

Do you have a large garden?
If so buy a decent sized shed and turn it into a gaming area where you can retreat to and you can have friends round for drinks and a few old school games or some quiz games with the missus if she's up for it.

Happy with Until Dawn, would have spent £15 on it in a sale so it's a nice freebie.

If you are only going through the motions with the first game then do yourself a favour and start on WD2. (:P Y'know, when you feel like you have a moment to spare.) It's not a direct continuation of 1 and also a great game.

PS+ is working out great of late for people that like adventures, episodic or otherwise. Which includes me.

I am in a similar position to Poser, late 30s and with a baby means very little gaming time.

I find the best way to get some gaming in is by playing the “smaller” games, Rocket League is great to just pick up, play and quickly turn off once parenting duties demand. Long winded story driven games can only really be played late at night when the kid is in bed, but by then I am usually so knackered that I just go to bed or put Netflix on.
