Eh? They always list which games will be at the show beforehand, the ones we already know. There will be plenty of third party announcements and maybe a couple of small first party.

That leaves Santa Monica, Guerilla, Japan Studio and Studio London who are most likely working on PS5 projects that, obviously, won't be announced until 2020.

No, these are the ones they'll be showing in-depth, they won't announce surprises before the show.

Sure. But as they were saying it's going to be different, I took that as meaning a lack of surprises.

I think it's smart to have people lower expectations before hand. They're gonna talk about Dreams and finally announce the relea- the Beta and I'm gonna be hyped.

Remember how bad E3 2011 and 2012 were due to last gen winding down? I think, in terms of new announcements, this will be similar.

I'm not so sure, with the mid gen refresh machines needing some love I think we'll see some decent action this E3 if only in a desperate bid to shift those refresh consoles.
I feel both Sony and Microsoft will be going strong with the benefits of 4K.

Theres more than enough coming out in the next year or two on the ps4. I really don’t want a ps5 until 2020.

Shenmue 1, 2 and 3 coming out is just a dream come true isn’t it?

A part of me likes the idea of knowing nothing whatsoever about this and going in completely blind.

Right. Now the standard PS4 Pro is out of stock at Amazon, GAME and Argos. Sony has to have some kind of updated version waiting in the wings.

Edit: It's not just here in the UK that you can't buy one, either - Amazon USA are also out of stock.

Maybe they have just scaled back production to meet demand? It could be that the Pro was rushed out to counter the Xbox 1 X but it has turned out that this didn't impact PS4 sales and is not seen as a threat. Or maybe a revised PS4 Pro is not seen as new hardware.

It'll be the PRO with one of the layers trimmed off.

The thing is... if there really is a new model, I know that I will want to get it . Unless it's some sort of poor "cheap build" version as with the PS3 Slim-Slim or the Xbox 360 Slim E.
