Controller prices can strawberry float off these days. Looking at you switch.

They are getting a bit ridiculous. My nephews wanted to get an extra Dual Shock for the PS4 but the forty-odd quid price point put them off. And then Nintendo raises the bar with seventy wraps for Joy-con :fp: .

Worth noting the blue and red crystal editions are not available in the UK and would have to be imported. For some reason.

Never understood the appeal of clear cases, cheap as hell looking.

This seems rather odd... I wonder why Sony decided to make those two colours available elsewhere but not in the UK?

Edit: European countries are not getting the midnight blue or steel black versions, either.

What's the point of a translucent case when all you can see through it is a opaque box not much smaller than the whole console. Also the translucent green one was better.

Decided to get myself the white PS4 Pro/Destiny 2 bundle for £349 from GAME.

Managed to sell my Tesco order from last week for a grand profit of £15! I will also do the same for the Curry's order (Barclay's already messaging to effectively ask 'why the strawberry float are you ordering so many PS4s'). The eBay seller fees, coupled with postage, is now legitimately insane (£50). Makes me realise all these people selling their SNES systems later this month aren't going to make as nearly as much profit as it may first appear. eBay on the other hand...

That's a nice set; a pretty good deal for the console, game and expansion pass. Are you go for a stand as well, KK?

I won't be no; I never have anywhere to put my consoles upright.

I have a ballpark figure of around £240 that I want to actually pay for the PS4 Pro itself, so I hope once everything has sold that's what it works out at.

I had no intention of purchasing the white one last week but then I saw it and thought it looked much better than the black.

Oh! I thought that you had chosen this deal as a good way of getting into Destiny 2 at a decent price! I doubt you'll get £110 for the game and expansion pass, KK...

Curry's came in at £285 for the console, Uncharted and wrist rest, so that netted me another £15 profit on top of Tesco. I'm expecting Destiny to go for around £45ish, expansion pass £20 (unless they're bundled together, I don't know). I suppose I could also sell the white controller.

Crumbs... have you bought more than two Pros, dude? This sounds like quite an undertaking to get a Pro slightly cheaper! Did you have a standard PS4 or is this you jumping-on point?

I currently have one of those grey 20th Anniversary PS4's from 2014.

I wasn't planning to jump through all these hoops but I kinda changed my mind at the last minute for a white one. But then I had no plans to spend much money at all this year, so every little saving helps.

Ah well, it'll be cool when you end up having a Pro at a reasonable price - it is a nice machine. Just a thought... is selling the Anniversary PS4 an option? You could probably get a decent price for it.
