Top man, Kj. I need to do this with my Pro, too, as that seems to have gotten a wee bit noisier recently. Gotta build up the courage to do so, though :dread: .

Same. I was literally struggling to hear Uncharted 4 over the fan noise on my recent playthrough. Tended to play late at night so cranking up the volume isn't a option.

I think this is caused by dust build up inside the PS4. A colleague followed some guide, opened his up and cleared the dust and says it is silent now. Looked too technical for me and mine isnt too bad but maybe worth looking up if it is making it unusable.

Ok, cheers, that's really useful. I'll give that a go soon.

It's easy in the sense that the top layer just pops off for you to get at the fan. Start with one of the front corners and pry open, feels tough first time and you might think your going to break it but you won't, don't worry.

Okay - thanks, Kj - I will have to build up the confidence to do this!

How easy is the normal PS4 to open up and clean?

Definitely something going on; at Amazon they have no Pros in stock (black or white) and game.co.uk only have the white model. With over a month until E3, though, it'll be odd if they leave the system unavailable until then.

I like the idea of getting one but with no 4K TV I don't think there would be much benefit to me so it would need a significant price cut to entice me.

Yes?

When you have a Pro and One X next to each other it really does show the size difference.
I'm sure Sony could make the Pro quite a bit smaller if they put in better cooling along with the usual reduction in size of components as time goes on. I also wouldn't be that shocked if they announced a model without a DVD drive (they will just add another USB socket so people can use an external drive if they wish) as that would make the packaging quite a bit smaller as well. I think this year is a bit early but maybe next years E3 they will announce a slim Pro and then end on PS5.

I see there's a new sale on the store.

A couple of games I'm interested in this time - Gang Beasts and Little Nightmares.

Would anyone recommend Gang Beasts as a local multiplayer game?

Also does anyone know what the complete edition of Little Nightmares includes not in the standard edition? Just wondering if it's worth the additional cost over the standard edition.

Dunkey video of Gang Beasts made it look kind of fun...

Little Nightmares Complete Edition = base game + Secrets of The Maw (SotM = The Depths, The Hideaway and The Residence)

At least that's what the blurb for the Switch version says: https://en.bandainamcoent.eu/little-nig ... ndo-switch

Which is kind of backed up here as well: http://www.playstationlifestyle.net/201 ... s-october/ and here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/424840/d ... 243914641/

Thanks for the info.

Gang Beasts does look like a bit of a laugh and I haven't seen it cheaper on PSN so will probably pick that up to add to our usual local multiplayer games list.

For the sake of £4 I might also go for the complete version of Little Nightmares, as I really like the look of the game and what I've seen/read about it.

Nope. Difference between basic (£7.99) and complete (£11.99) editions is all but £4.
