I'm unaware how I will feel in the future, but I will get back to you on that, since you seem so concerned.
Microsoft are hosting their own Japanese event less than a week after TGS ends anyway. That's a much shorter period of time than between E3 and TGS. It's all about pacing. Nintendo typically don't attend TGS, but that never stops an influx of Nintendo news, or content. We've had Directs in the past timed to coincide. I am wondering if we'll see a Direct or not this year, what with recent events. A more sombre and restrained one, if anything.
I have no idea why you put Nintendo in their either, what did they announce?
Quite simply, I included Nintendo, because they confirmed localised titles, release dates, detailed special editions, and released a few trailers (the most interesting to me being Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water). Here's a handy
overview, since you appear to have missed them! It may not have been as large an amount of content as Microsoft, but something is better than nothing.
I am concerned for you Baka, you seem upset
I'll agree that Microsoft took advantage of Sony's press conference 'exclusion' (I say that, they were very much on the show floor) but like you say, pacing. Gamescom, I believe was alot earlier this year. Sony dropped plenty of names at E3, that was only 2 months ago. They have 3 shows that will be (mainly) focused on them. Plus a big show at the end of year, right before Christmas to send people into a frenzy. Like Microsoft, Sony will be more that happy to have their news focused squarely on them and not split between the competition, E3 excluded.
