If you want to be anal/smart about it, you need to compare everything you play on Plus (or any subscription package, really) to what it would have cost to purchase outright on the PS Store or on disc. Of course if you want to play online then you've still got to purchase the Essential package anyway.
If like me you're not ploughing through enough titles (or they're a bit older, therefore worth less than a tenner anyway), I think there's a very good chance with these increases that you're just not getting VFM any more.

yikes
That sounds pretty decent! Callisto is relatively new and, due to the price, I held off at launch. I know that it has had mixed reviews but it's certainly a game I'd like to try for "free".
And Dark Rula must be delighted that so many more people will be able to have a go at a Farming Simulator game now .
I would be over the moon (heh) with Callisto. I have been eyeing it up for a few months now, but always thought it would come to Game Pass sooner or later. PS Essential would be even better.
Anyone else unable to download Ridge Racer Type 4? It just an error of something went wrong (helpful). I’ve tried on my PS5, the app and even on PS4 and it’s the same thing. So I thought I’ll just buy it, and it says I am unable to purchase this product.
Will certainly give Callisto a go over Halloween. My sub is nearing expiry, so hopefully they will offer a competitive Black Friday promotion like they often seem to do.
Sony Pictures Core has been added to PlayStation Plus Premium, giving you access to up to 100 movies.
For everyone else, up to 2,000 films are available to buy or rent, including Gran Turismo, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Uncharted, The Equalizer, No Hard Feelings, Bullet Train, and Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
Minimum 9Mbps required for PS5 consoles and 2Mbps for PS4 consoles for IMAX Enhanced playback.
Of course if the service was to close at any point in the future you'd possibly lose your purchased films, so probably best not to do that.
Previously this service was exclusively on certain Sony Bravia televisions and featured the best picture quality of any streamer, but not sure if that remains the case on PlayStation.
The next obvious step from here would be to start putting Crunchyroll anime and manga in the sub. Shame their music streaming service was so gooseberry fool and failed, really. When you think of everything the greater corp has its hands in, it could have started looking like a Prime or Apple One contender.
