Playstation Plus Online Storage not showing all saves

So I've backed up all my saves to the Playstation Plus online storage as I had to do a complete reformat of my system due to some problems I was having. That took a whopping 16 hours but the console does seem to be back in working order. Now I checked the Online Storage before starting the restore and all my saves were there and the storage showed as using 58MB/150MB.
However, I've set the system back up and I'm logged into my PSN account and when I go to the Online Storage section in the Saved Games menu, whilst it still shows as using 58MB/150MB, when I go in the only save showing is a 124kB save for Resistance Fall of Man. All my other saves aren't showing up at all!

Any ideas on what to do?

Found a solution at last. Turns out there are two reliable methods.

1) Wait 24 hours for the saves to show up.
2) Upload something completely new to your online storage, not just something that will over-write an existing file. Has to be totally new.

After the system restore my PS3 download speed seems to have hugely increased as well which is a nice little bonus.
