I was lurking in the Relationship Thread and saw a couple of people bring this up. Couldn’t see another thread on it, so here goes: do you have many soft toys? Do you still collect them? Are they a childish enjoyment that should have been left behind long ago? Pictures welcome, natch.

I used to collect Beanie Babies back in the day. Had well over 100. I don’t collect them any more because (a) the designs have gone a bit bobbins and (b) they’re childish things and a man of age 28 has no business buying Beanie Babies, ho no.

I collect Squishables instead! Not the food, they’re rubbish, but I have several others. And lots of Pokémon/Nintendo plushies, of course: Dartrix Absol Latios Sableye Haunter and a Master Ball sit atop my sofa, and an old old Pikachu with haunted eyes rests on my wardrobe, watching me as I sleep.

There, I’ve embarrassed myself on the Internet. Your turn!

I do have a few, Balladeer.

I really like the Yarn Yoshi amiibo; they're very well made and look great. I have, uhm... several of them. I also have a few Star Wars Plush Buddies from circa 1996.

These aren't pictures of my own ones, but just to demonstrate:

My kids have hundreds but I've never been a plushie kind of guy myself, even as a child I didnt have many soft toys - although I was quite attached to a Panda toy that I had from a young age.

We have a Mimikyu in the living room and there's a few other Pokemon and a Groot in storage somewhere. I've a yarn yoshi amiibo boxed away as well.

My mum used to work for House of Fraser and for a couple of decades now has bought my sister a Fraser bear at Christmas. The spare room in my parents house is full of old bears.

I held on to a few stuffed toys that girlfriends gave me in my teens, for sentimental reasons. When my daughters where born, they played with them. Now they're older, some have become dog toys!

I had a massive collection of them as a kid. I was really attached to them all too - knew where I got every one etc. Sadly I think my parents got rid of all of them, so I didn't even get to keep the one or two I was really attached to. Now, I just have a couple I've bought as an adult, of characters I like - Yoshi, Psyduck, Iron Man.

Poyo poyo supremacy. It's a knock off, as there's no official one, but it's a very very good one.

I have an absolute load from when I was a kid packed away at my parents, but here I have a mario star, a (classic) sonic, a sly raccoon and a mimikyu. On my bedside table I also have a green yarn yoshi amiibo and an oddsock from little big planet 3

I have plushies of Mr and Mrs Pac Man on my fireplace, a plush of a tiger from the weebl song "Kenya", an umbreon on my sofa, a substitute doll next to my TV, a few beanie babies here and there, i'm sure i have a toon link plush somewhere, and my first ever teddy bear Fred. He's an old white bear wearing a gold bow tie, named after "drop dead Fred" as I loved that film as a kid (it's still a favourite of mine now).

Ella has an extensive Pokemon plush collection, you can't move in her bedroom for them. Her favourite however is a tiny charmander plush I bought her 6 years ago now that she called "Doppy".

Glad to see the Yoshiibo praise. Mine sits below my telly. It's accompanied around the living room by a Toon Link (out of the box TM), a purple Pikmin, and a little knitted Umbreon from goodness knows where.

...you bastard. The axolotl is one of the Squishables I own, only he's called Fatsolotl. Naturally, I'm tempted by that puppet... :x

I'll be disappointed if Laga doesn't own that Max plush.

The wife and I combined have ended up with a pretty big stuffed toy/plushie collection. I'll generally tend to buy her one from a gift shop every now and then as a spontaneous gift, and it's one of my go to small to medium present ideas. I got her a porg last month as a belated Christmas present, and I got my son a Build-A-Bear Groot for a quid on the pay your age day. I never want to set foot in that shop again because I. WILL. CRACK. AND. LOSE. MY. HOUSE.

I have a grey teddy (named the same) bear from my childhood that I keep around, and in storage back in the UK are a great many plush toys from the same time - dinosaurs, Sonic, other bears, possibly an otter, etc.
