Pointless stuff you always do in games

Finding a save point, even though the game just auto-saved when moving from one area to the next.

Whenever I enter a new level or area I always turn around to see if there was anything just behind where I just spawned.

I quite enjoyed in The Last Story on the Wii that almost every area had little bonuses if you were willing to just turn the camera around and explore back a bit before advancing too far ahead.

If I am given multiple paths I always go left.

Multiple saves (this is probably a hold over from PS1).

Shoot windows.

I do this as well, part of it harks back to playing DK Country when I was younger and that having bits behind the start quite often I think.

I always search rooms for stuff and collectables but not thoroughly enough to get them all. I had to make myself stop doing it in Uncharted:LL as it was ruining the pacing and I was never going to get everything.
