Really good update which makes evolutions a lot more achievable.

I'm super thrilled that the update came out as I've just depleted a surplus of balls I got while on holiday a few weeks ago. Now I'm back home and I'd have to travel into shitty town to get any advantage from the update. I really hate this game.

I've been running very low so need a proper wander around a big city to stock up. It does feel like a much better game now you get double candies for catching Pokemon. Makes the grind so much easier. Will be crap when it return's to normal.

There was a 2nd update that just said "minor bug fixes" on Android. Like that's a minor bug. May be fixed now.

Finally evolved Magikarp, also got a charmander from a 2k egg. Today was a good day.

Wish they would leave the new rules in place. It's a much more enjoyable game now.

They'll need to keep doing stuff like this as over the winter a game about wandering around for hours outside loses its appeal.

I just sat under a canopy at Tesco and it walked me back and forth for 1km and spawned about 6 mon continously in a row.

There was a mile lure in my town this weekend. Tonnes of Pokemon about and brought loads of people into town. Cafes were so busy.
I am starting to get into this again now. I just really want a Snorlax so I have a 10km egg in incubation.
Yesterday I got a Jigglypuff from an egg

We want to provide you a detailed look at a new feature coming soon to Pokémon GO - Daily bonuses! Trainers will soon be able to receive a bonus for certain daily activities, including catching a Pokémon or visiting a PokéStop once a day. You’ll earn a larger bonus if you do this seven days in a row!

Catching a Pokémon every day will earn the following bonus:
500 XP
600 Stardust
Catching a Pokémon every day for 7 days straight will earn the following larger bonus:

2,000 XP
2,400 Stardust
Visiting a PokéStop and spinning the Photo Disc every day will earn the following bonus:

500 XP
A number of additional items
Visiting a PokéStop every day for 7 days straight will earn the following larger bonus:

2,000 XP
A greater number of additional items
If you catch a Pokémon at any time on Tuesday local time, you’ll be eligible for the next daily bonus on Wednesday at 12 AM local time.

Not a bad idea having the daily bonuses. Wish they'd hurry up and bring in trading, legendary Pokemon, battling, generation 2, shiny Pokemon, and all the stuff that makes a Pokemon game a Pokemon game.

Just seen on Twitter that Zubat, Ratatta and Pidgey spawns have been reduced, and the latter two no longer hatch from eggs. Eevees now hatch from 5km eggs instead of 10km ones.

Huh is that one only available in the US?... Just googled. So it is a region specific Pokemon. Hopefully there will be loads in Vegas. Thanks for the heads up

I caught a Porygon today

Apparently its rare

Also caught a Pikachu. When it appeared my phone battery was 12% and within a second it dropped to 1%!!! I really don't know what is going on with my iPhone 6. Anyway luckily I was close to my car so I started running towards my car and plugged it into charge before my phone would switch off.
Just ordered a new portable charger so this doesn't happen again.

Since the patch this morning Im seeing a shitload more pokemon around and a load more variety in what actually appears as well. Getting loads of items from stops too.

I seem to catch Pokémon around my house that used to rarely show up as well. Simple things like Koffing, Jigglypuff and Magnemite. Even got an Ivysaur the other day xD

Still only Lv19 so unsure if it was a change or just because my level is getting higher. Started playing again after the Halloween event. Think the increased candies thing for your buddy should definitely be a permanent fixture. 1 per 3km is scrooge-like.

Ratattas and Pidgeys still hatch from eggs - they just come from 5km eggs now which makes much more sense when they are the most common egg. Also worth noting that as well as increased xp + stardust for your first catch of the day - you also get extra supplies from your first pokestop of the day.
