Just catching the legendaries at the moment, re group quests, if I literally do 3 on my Scarlet file, can I just reload when Snacksworth gives me a treat? If he doesn't give me one for one of Rayquaza/Kyurem/Necrozma? Really not fussed about catching all 25 twice really, but not sure if it throws the snacks at you in a given order or not.

If I do just need the three that I can reload to get the right ones, anyone free later on today to get 3 group quests done?

Yeah I'll jump in with you, drop me a line when you're free - I'm just trying to get Arctovish and Arctozolt on Shield at the moment (100 digs for a dino fossil and counting ) and will be near my phone or laptop for most of the day.

ah yes the fossils that are very rare in shield. do you have the dlc cause there's a spot in the tundra that usually spawns a raid battle against one of the four?

Yeah I do, thanks. I actually immediately got two of them after posting that, literally within ten minutes. I'm now at the point of not really knowing what to tackle - I'm pushing for a full living Dex but I only need a few of the Ultra Beasts/Regidrago, (from Shield DLC), Zacian, Miraidon, Iron Boulder/Iron Crown and five event Pokemon (Marshadow, Zeraora, Zarude, Walking Wake, Iron Leaves).

Actually, if anyone has Walking Wake and Iron Leaves going spare, I'd super appreciate a trade - can give just about everything except the one-and-done Pokemon.

Sadly I've already given what would have been a spare Walking Wake/Iron Leaves away to a mate, I think I might have a spare Regidrago from going through the SS DLC 3 times though? Likewise with the Zacian if you wanted one before playing through Sword yourself. Rest of the event ones I've literally got one of though, same for Iron Crown/Boulder, so they're staying put

I still dislike the route they've gone with Walking Wake/Iron Leaves, in no way should brand new Pokemon be locked behind a raid, its bad enough when it was a distribution where you had to go and get a code from a shop, I really hope at some point, these two will just be either found in raids on a normal cycle, or distributed via mystery gift when the games cycle reaches its end, much like we got a Shiny Zacian/Zamazenta/Eternatus via code in Sword and Shield once that reached the end of its cycle.

Sounds good to me! No need for fossils - I got them sorted this morning. Only need Ultra Beasts, mythicals and event pokemon now!

Well, you can get plenty of UB in the Dynamax Adventures, still no idea why on earth there is so many of those things, you want to do the trades/quests now? I'm hoping 3 group quests won't take long really. Will need to move Zacian/Regidrago into Shield first.

Currently got two of the 3 snacks I needed, probably quite a bit of resetting needed for the last one now.

And so my shiny Eeveelution quest has come to an end. Having kept the Eevee outbreak event by not connecting the game to the internet since it started, I was able to work through those outbreaks whenever I felt. Though I did take an extended break to explore Blueberry Academy. This month, I returned back to the hunt, and did think I had enough shiny Eevee for all Eeveelutions plus an Eevee. So I started evolving them. Flareon, Jolteon, Vaporeon. Leafeon, Glaceon. Then realised I was one short. So back to the hunt I went.

Yesterday, I accidentally got rid of the event Eevee outbreaks by connecting the game to the internet, pressing X instead of Y and then almost immediately L so instead of swapping maps I instead made the connection. I felt there were many more ways of getting the final shiny I needed, so wasn't too concerned. Then today, upon loading up I felt the game was throwing me a bone when an Espeon outbreak was visible on the map. Of course, I looked up how to make a Lv3 psychic sandwich and got one made before going there.

The game had trolled me. There were no Espeon there. Other outbreaks were working, as I'd flew over one getting to where the Espeon one was, and I checked another just to make sure. Even flew to Kitakami and back to try resetting it. I couldn't quit out of the game and back in, however. Doing so would have wasted the meal effects (what was left, anyway), as I'd done the same as yesterday when meaning to swap back to the Paldea map. And being light on herba mystica and not wanting to spend time doing raids to get them meant I didn't want those effects to immediately be wasted through quitting out.

So I looked on the Pokédex for Espeon's habitat. I spent some time around Medali trying to get one to spawn, but no luck. With six minutes left, I was looking for where else I could go. Followed the eastern path away from Medali, and there they were, as though this was part of an outbreak. And then within two minutes, there the shiny Espeon was. With it caught, I evolved the last of the Eevee to Sylveon and Umbreon. And I am happy to have the full set of shiny Eeveelutions at last.

Of course, during the hunt I was encountering other shiny Pokémon, too. Mareep, Hoothoot, Skiddo, Capsakid, and another Magikarp (which I evolved to Gyarados) mean I almost have a full box of shiny Pokémon. I'm pretty certain I'll end up transferring the lot to Home, since they're probably safer there.

Now for the epilogue.

Got the Kyurem snack now means I’m nearly done with these now till I hatch a team for a second run on each of them of course

There's another swarm event so of course I stupidly decided to go for the shinies again.

Got 2 of all but Skrelp and finding this second skrelp is taking me forever. It's painful. The water Pokemon that don't dive are not too difficult to hunt, but given skrelp seems to immediately go under water sometimes and you can't see the damn things it's like im losing my mind. I must've reset my clock about 20 times at this point for more swarms lol.

A 5GB update is out today, outside of a few minor sounding issues, I have no idea why its coming in at 5GB

Unless it's that much anticipated performance patch........

Serebii guy said they've patched out Smeargle being able to use transform on wild pokemon because people were cloning the legendaries with them.

I'm annoyed. I'm trying to complete all 3 pokedexes at the moment. I've completed my Paldea dex, and now I'm 4 pokemon away from a full Kitakami dex. One of those pokemon I'm after is Dusknoir. I found an electric type raid by the crystal pool containing one and thought "My Clodsire isn't quite up to 5 star raids on its own yet, I'll go online and get help" Go online and the raid disappears. I've gone round Kitakami to every available raid on my game, and there are 0 raids for Dusknoir. I'm currently trying to find a raid online now but I'm failing to find any Dusknoir ones.

Yup. That is annoying, but it's essentially doing a complete refresh whenever you connect online. Just keep on looking and it should be found at some point.
