If we didn’t know we’re getting Unova remakes/Legends game next, they’re dropping plenty of hints in this DLC.

This is truly what they should be doing with regular battles. Like, there is so much more to be aware of in fighting these trainers. For instance, in just this one battle, the opponent has used Electric Terrain, which then allowed the Lantern to heal after an Explosion rather than be hit by it. A Rhyperior was then sent out, with that Lantern using Discharge, which boosted the Rhyperior rather than damaging it. Like yeah, the double battles make for greater strategy, but there's still plenty of things a single battle format can utilise.

So I'm just running around catching stuff rather than doing the quest, there is loads of returning stuff, maybe too much really!

After my initial thinking the performance was ever so slightly improved, it really isn't

Oh, God yeah. The performance is absolutely awful still. Probably even the worst I've had it get at points with slowdown and freezes.

Not deterring me, though. I'm loving exploring and seeing how this story unfolds.

If the performance was spot on I think SV could have become my favourite Pokemon games, as it is that title still goes to GSC or BW/BW2.

Still good fun thankfully though!

Edit, I hope the exclusive new legendary Pokemon come to the raids as 5* ones down the line, I don't mind the cover being exclusive or older legendary stuff being on one game, but to have new stuff locked to one version where people aren't going to want to trade them feels a bit off. Are Walking Wake and Iron Leaves back in this?

These shiny rates on the mass swarm events are insane. In around 2 hours playtime I got 8 shiny Milcery's (to get all 7 shiny forms) and I got about 3 shiny Flabebe's now (1 red, 1 yellow and 1 orange)

Has anyone got the DLC for scarlet?

It's not a problem yet, but for some dumbass reason they made the final 4 paradox pokemon DLC version exclusives which makes sense given the future/past theme with Area 0, but the issue is they've made them a one per save capture thing, god knows why. At some point (I haven't beaten the DLC yet) I'm going to need to touch trade with someone on scarlet to finish my dex if anyone will be available to do it here that'd be great!

Completed the story, and across the two parts, it's a lovely one. Basic, but it gets the theming of what it's telling down right. Flight is also a cool thing to get having completed the story. First thing I did head is for the skies. And the top of the tera globe.

Now for the BP grind to get everything unlocked from the donations.

If no one else offers to touch trade I will, I am hoping for all the people out there with one version, that the other version exclusive paradox legendary Pokémon do come to 5* Tera raids in the near future. Locking the cover legendary to one version is outdated but I still see why they do it and of course wild stuff you can catch loads of is no bother either, but one time legendary Pokémon that the majority of players are going to want their own of feels wrong, of course Pokémon plan on this so people (ie me) get fooled into buying both games

I’ve barely done any of the story in the second part, need to show off an Alolan Pokémon to progress, but frankly o was too big catching stuff on Friday to push on with the quest, hopefully I’ll get a little more time with it tomorrow, if not then Tuesday.

Walking Wake and Iron Leaves are back as 5* raids between the 25th of December and 7th of January, got to think the other Paradox dog legendary Pokémon introduced in the DLC will be available as raids next then.

Finished the second DLC's story. The final cutscene was really nice. I enjoyed how they handled all the characters in this. I've got a few problems with random things like not being able to evolve certain pokemon and the DLC paradox pokemon being one per save and stuff, but outside of that I really loved this DLC so far and there's more to do in the background too.

Overall there's apparantly one more free story update DLC called the Peach Update, but this is easily one of the best Pokemon games. It's just such a damn shame it's held down by performance issues. If you can look past that this is an absolute gem and a must play.

The omission of Alolan Raichu is disappointing too :(

Of course as I posted before, I don’t get the DLC paradox Pokémon being a one per save, still hope they’ll appear in raids soon. I also agree that it’s one of the best games they’ve done, the performance puts a huge dampener on it though, if it was flawless performance wise I’d forgive it for looking so poor for the most part, but it doesn’t look good or perform well sadly.

I'm glad it's not just me who ended up with a lot of Shiny Shinx's. I got 4-5 of them in Arceus.

Is there anything specific you're after for that squirtle you mentioned or are you just giving it away? (can trade later if you're available, if not later in the week or whenever) :toot:

Hmm not sure. There’s plenty of shinys I like but I’m can’t remember what you got

Unlocked BBQs this morning, bit repetitive aren't they? Need 12k to unlock the starters, no idea how much you need for the trainers and legendary Pokemon, going to be a bit of a time sink I reckon!

Was doing a raid and then the game closed :fp:

I ended up getting 6k playing with one of my friends, if you play as a group all the quests count for everyone so you can build it up fast.
