Based on that trailer, i'm expecting a horror-based, Arceus-based Pokemon game.

I expect it will not be this.

The starters look like the usual fan predictions we usually get for every new generation.

The duck is terrible, what's wrong with you guys? Grass cat and fire croc look cute though.

Grass cat is pretty much grass Litten, and I see nothing wrong with that. I really hope that fire starter's final form is a T-Rex looking thing. Knowing Game Freak, it'll probably become a Brachiosaurus instead. Can't wait to see more of this.

Yeah I thought they looked like Fakemon, though to be fair, I've probably thought that since Gen 9.

Not sure where the matching pairs thing is with the names this time around. Scarlet and Violet don't seem like a pair, unless they are thinking along the lines of Infrared and Ultraviolet.

Choosing the duck purely based on that name.

I hope they are carrying over the catching mechanics from PLA, it looks very likely, battling as well although get rid of Strong/Agile style stuff.

Actually pretty hyped for an Open World Pokemon, Switch line up is stacked this year!
