Pokemon the Series Twitch Marathon (starts Monday August 27th 6pm)

In the first episode of the Pokémon TV show, Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town overslept on the very first morning of his Pokémon journey. His rivals claimed Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur, so he was left with the feisty Mouse Pokémon whose face would become an icon for an entire generation of anime fans.

Their adventures are legendary. And now, we’re reliving those adventures together on Twitch.

The Twitch Pokémon Marathon kicks off August 27 at 10 AM PT. Tune in to /twitchpresents with thousands of fans for 19 seasons of the beloved TV show (932 episodes!) and 16 Pokémon movie parties, streamed all around the world in six languages (English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Brazilian Portuguese).

If you think you have what it takes to become a Pokémon Master, prove it with the Twitch Presents: Pokémon Badge Collector extension. When Pokémon appear on stream, catch them to earn points and compete with other viewers. Stay vigilant and you may even capture a rare Pokémon or two...

We’ll stream the first-run of episodes every Monday through Thursday, with reruns on Friday and Saturday over on the /twitchpresents2 channel. Then, join us every Sunday again on /twitchpresents at 10 AM PT for a Pokémon movie party.

What's the expected end date for this? Surely it's going to take months to show every episode. The yugioh marathon took ages because of the constant ad breaks.

The Pokemon twitter says it's only 9 series and finishes on October 28th but the Twitch twitter says it's all 19 series so I'm not sure what's going on.

Probably depends if you count the volumes as seasons rather than as a collection making up a season.

why would anyone watch this garbage? what a waste of time.

I just started watching these last week on Netflix although I’m only up to about episode 11 I think.

I never got beyond a few episodes after the first movie so my goal is to get further this time

What happened to the order ..?

I watched some last night, it was the pokemon school and the bulbasaur village.
Then this morning shows them only just arriving in pewter city to meet Brock..?

Looks like they're showing 12 new episodes a day starting from 6pm and repeating them again till 6pm the next day when they show the next 12.

10 minutes till the next lot!

So many things I'd forgotten about:

Most of Ash's badges being pity badges not won in a battle
A talking Gastly making money by pretending to be a ghost from a ghost story in a seaside town
Someone in the above episode dual-wielding uzis
Diglett being able to move at the speed of light(!)
Ash & Pikachu being crushed under a chandelier, ACTUALLY DYING and having their souls snatched by a Haunter
The episode with the KAIJU TENTACRUEL destroying a seaside city that got banned after September 11th
The SS Anne arc and the ep where the Pokemon get separated from their owners and their speech is subbed
Half the gym leaders basically being murderous psychopaths (Koga and his ninja gym full of Saw-style death traps)
Officer Jenny holding up Ash AT GUNPOINT for trying to catch a Pokemon in the Safari Zone that he didn't know he was in

Sabrina being someone who turns human beings into dolls for her psychopathic doll to torture is another thing I forgot about.

Yeah, not sure why he's shocked he didn't win the tournament at the end of the season. :lol:
