Started off grinding the $3.50 45 mans in early Jan. Moved up to a combo of $3.50/$7.00 45 mans.

Am now mostly playing $15 18 mans.

Abusing my floattheturn $8/month subscription for SnG videos and am using SNG wiz quite a lot now. Games improving a lot!

Nice Chris!

I really hope you can keep the money in your roll this time. There's no reason you couldn't make decent money with the grinding figures you're putting in.

I may be in China, but I'm watching this thread like a hawk. Watching its...hawk buddies.

I hear the cash games there are juicy with all the Chinese businessmen upping the stakes. Durr, Trickett and the like have been caning it.

Very nice graphs Luw! decent volume too.

Here's my $2 180s so far. Played just over 2000 of them now with just over $1000 profit, so quite pleased with how they're going. I'm too nitty to switch right over to the $8 but I have started adding a couple in to every session, no cashes yet though (ran into AA on the bubble in one of them  ).

That's just $2 180s since November, but I didn't put much volume in after Xmas or in January. I played 600 last month and was up $432. Already this month I'm up $200 after just 32 tournaments, so good start but I'm sure it won't last.

I have played a lot more 180s in the past but HEM didn't record them all properly (only the ones I cashed) so I don't have decent graphs for those.

Just finished 100th in the Big $11 out of over 10,000 entrants. :|
Once it got deep I was short stacked and card dead the whole time, but kept myself alive by making some well timed steals. Then it gets down to 100 players and I'm last with just under 10bb but finally get dealt AQ in the SB and double up v the A4 of the BB. I'm still below average but have something to work with so the chances of a decent cash are now looking quite good. Then the very next hand I get JJ which is probably the best I've seen all tournament. It folds to me and I induce a shove from the BB, only problem is he has Aces. :fp:

$126 for 100th ain't too bad, but $12K for 1st would have been nicer, and after playing so few hands it's annoying to run into aces when I finally get dealt something good.

Shipped my first live tournament of the year for £110. £10 buy in/23 runners. That'll pay the food shopping for the next two weeks :)

Didn't get a chance to tell you guys sadly - but I was televised online on a final table last night that scans your cards and shows them on a ten minute delay (at my local club) - all pretty swish. It was a real rollercoaster though - three tables left I re-shoved A-A over someones all in, also got another call.

A-A vs A-K vs A-9.

I was drawing dead on the flop. :fp:

Managed to come back with a couple of double ups after being crippled and then got a huge slice of luck when my button shove with J-6 was snapped by A-Q, only for me to hit two pair.

Finished 7th in the end for £49 - but I just wanted to try the swanky table out TBH!

Wow.

I feel we should probably begin to plan this meet to play at DML's local club. Last time it was mooted there were three of us interested (Luw, DML and myself). Anyone else?

Gaz, you mentioned that if you had a job by then you would be up for it. How's about it?
