No Goliath for me this year, sadly. Hopefully I'll be able to next year to progress to a third straight day two.

Haven't been able to pre-register yet as the online registration is closed now. Tried phoning but they asked that I call back later as they're too busy at the moment, so hopefully I can get registered later on as it looks like it may sell out and I don't fancy hanging around waiting for people to get eliminated before I can play.

So far they've already had 1500 entries, with another 400+ today, and probably double that again tomorrow so the £250k guarantee should be easily smashed!

Gonna aim to get to the casino about 11am and then go and get some lunch before it all starts.

Had 88 3 times in 6 hands and won all 3. Don't let anyone tell you that run good doesn't exist.

Started playing some Jackpot SNGs last night on Full Tilt. Rolled $20 into $70 in about 40 minutes. They are three player hyper turbos where the amount you can win changes based on spinning tables at the start. Most of the time it is 2x the buy-in (obv gooseberry fool) but if you get lucky it goes all the way up to 2,000x the buy in. I played about ten last night and had a 6x and an 8x.

People are playing them way too fast as well. You start with 25BBs and for a hyper turbo structure (especially with the third player) its actually slower than most - but you have people shoiving the likes of K-10 first hand where theres quite a lot more play than that. You can also deal if you were lucky enough to end up in a higher game.

Been playing a lot of HU Hyper Turbo SNGs recently. Just the $3.50 ones as I learn the game, but they seem quite decent.

I also feel studying these has helped with my post-flop MTT game, now I just need to play more ;)

I was playing the 6 Max Hype Turbo SNG's I was doing really well at the $3.50 ones and tried some 7$ and 15$ and made about 300$.

I found myself consistently finishing either 3rd or 1st as would find chips just rotated round until someone took the gamble and either had a ton of chips or were crippled.

No when you play it spins a wheel and what it lands on is the multiplier used against the prizes.

Basically it works out you need to win 37.6% of the time to be profitable at them. Hyper turbos is something I'm pretty good at and the standard is super soft. Plus I've had a big jackpot one up front, if I run good enough to see an upper echelon one I'm quids in automatically as you can just deal.
