I tell you what, this WSOP has been a disappointment. The following all went the way I didn't want them to.

Ted Forrest > Hellmuth
Bonomo > Sowers
Volpe > Negreanu
Colman > Negreanu

Highlights were Buchman, Ivey and Cada all winning bracelets (significant as they all FT'd the ME in 2009) George Danzer finally getting off the mark in a big way. I just hope someone I am interested in makes it deep in the Main Event.

Mark Newhouse becomes the first player to make the November Nine twice and the first player since Dan Harrington to make back to back final tables in the Main Event.

Love it when you flop nuts and someone shoves all-in for over 150BB

Was glad to see he didn't even have the flush draw.

Busted in the 500s somewhere, KK to 77 after a big downswing and some bad calls on my part.

Anyone else playiong the Goliath this year?

I've got two weeks off work and want to play, but haven't made any firm plans yet. Also skint at the moment, so likely to be just one bullet with no side events if I do play.

I will go to the goliath. Flexible on what day so if you want a poker buddy I am good. My house is also a bit of a drive away but you're welcome to my spare room rather than a hotel if you make it through etc.

PM for mobile number.
