I'm out too. One of the big stacks in MP was raising a lot. I played back from SB with AT and ran into his KK.

Interesting discussion between James Hartigan and Kevin MacPhee on twitter at the moment about how poker pros were chosen for shark cage. MacPhee claiming that a couple chosen are doing some quite underhand tactics during EPT satellites.

Heading over to EPT Deauville for a couple of smaller buy-in events at the start of Feb with a couple of friends :) Bit of a jump up from pub poker...

A friend I play with/against has a place in Northern France so we're going to head across so the respective women in our lives can go and shop and we can play a couple of side events. Have always wanted to play an EPT event  - One day I will be able to afford the main event :shifty:

It's been a shitty year poker wise for me, but I've had a second place and a third place over the last two weeks for a combined profit of around $900, which has paid off Christmas nicely :)

Main problem this year has been playing when I'm nowhere near a winning mind set. e.g. playing 4 tables for $50 worth of BIs in front of the TV on a Friday after work. Also played a lot of the shitty Spin 'n' Gos since they launched, which tells you everything about the gambley mind-set I've been in.

Alas. Would anyone fancy a GR home game over the Christmas break?

I shall try! Up $158 in the last 3 evenings from a few cash games and seemingly running well again and feel like I'm making more right decisions than wrong ones. Long may it continue.
