I don't know too much about Pokémon but I keep hoping that we'll see another entry in the Let's Go series.

Wonder if they'll show anything of Season 2 of Pokemon Concierge, or if it'll just be a "yeah we're doing a new one" announcement, since Netflix have just said there's more in production.

Was so disappointed it was only four episodes  It was great.

Please GameFreak, just please put older games on the Switch eShop? With added Home support would be ideal.

It was more like 3.5 episodes as well  I really enjoyed it once it seemed to get going, but then it just stopped

Think the cycle means we are due a remake this autumn? Three years since Diamond/Peak in 2021 and the cycle usually goes remake/mainline game/DLC.

Legends Arceus changed that up a bit, and was released about two months after the last remakes. This was ridiculous, not only due to having two big Pokémon games in a couple of months, not only because they released it in January but also because Game Freak's Pokémon games are famous for being underbaked.

I hope they've extended the cycle to four years now, to give them more time to work on things, but this is probably a forlorn hope. They seem beholden to the three year cycle and they probably do this for reasons other than game development.

30+ minutes of mobile ads, a two minute trailer for a spin-off game, a three minute trailer for whatever mainline game is next (whether remake or Legends-style).

My Pokémon hope of recent times is an on-foot racer. Since it's very unlikely to ever get the GCN games on the Switch.

Pretty sure they were teasing Black/White stuff on Twitter a few weeks ago so that would be the obvious announcement. Just be interesting to see what style they go with this time since no one seemed to like how they remade gen 4.

The D/P remakes, due to their style, felt way less ambitious than the other ones. Granted, the chibi graphics did mean they were somewhat faithful to the source material, but the previous tradition in remakes was to bring the old games up to par with the mainline title of the time (so ORAS looked like X/Y; HGSS looked like D/P etc).

Coincidentally, we got these simplistic remakes around the same time as doing a "proper" remake would have meant turning them into full 3D like Sword and Shield. Far from me to accuse Game Freak of taking the lazy option...

They also farmed into out to another company. They were definitely the worst of the remakes we have had so far, and I don't think the fanbase would accept Black and White being done this way (though almost certainly that is what will happen).

They’ve been teasing Gen 5 for a while, although Blueberry Academy DLC is full of Gen 5 stuff as well, so it’s either tying the DLC to the anime, or potentially hinting at a remake too. Just hope they go for a pixel style like the originals rather than trying to update it like with BDSP, which only worked well in a couple of areas really.

No reason why Gen 1-3 can’t come to the couple of Apps over the next few months, still think I’d prefer to buy them, as I can see them not having Home support if they’re through the apps.

We also probably got the simpler, more faithful remakes (outsourced to ILCA) because part of the main team was on with Legends Arceus. Personally I’d love it if we got HD versions of BW/BW2, with the various mythical events back in the game (no timed mystery gifts like in BDSP please, which was bizarre), the pixel art was amazing in BW/BW2

Seeing a lot of chatter online that people are almost expecting gen 2 remakes of some sorts, which could happen I guess? Still think gen 5 is more likely if we get any remakes/legend game though.

If GameFreak do their previous supporting of systems though, the 2025 game will be on the Switch as well (maybe cross gen, if the Switch is fully backwards compatible), I guess we could get a Black/White remake in one year, with BW2 the following? Or a double pack of BW/BW2 one year, with a Legends game set in Johto or Unovo? Would then free up 2026, the series 30th anniversary, as a brand new gen, solely on Switch 2..... You just know with it being the 30th anniversary it'll have a lot of Kanto focus

I'd like a sequel to Pokémon Legends Arceus, it was wonderful and really made exploring and capturing fun.

Any two of the three of Let’s Go Johto/new Legends game/BW+BW2 remake over the next couple of years would be ideal. Crucially, it’d give gen 10 a much needed extra year in the works as well.

This is on later today at 2pm, seen that apparently the run time is only 12 mins and 52 seconds, which is on the short side.

I was reading somewhere that it seems the last few years there has been a sort of pattern with the length of these. Last year was over 20 mins but 2022 was under 15mins (Also the year they revealed Scarlet/Violet)

We’ll see what’s in store but my main hope/wish is Let’s Go Gold and Silver.

Yeah, that feels to be a pretty short runtime, Robbo. Perhaps it'll just be a couple of brief updates on existing titles and then a splash about a new game? Let's Go, Pokémon Presents!
