A must. I thought Omega Ruby had a lot of things you could do after the main story ended, but there wasn't really a place to train high level Pokemon (unless you were into secret bases). I would love more areas.

I'd really like a nod back to the old games where we can maybe visit Sinnoh or something for another 8 gyms to conquer. Also something akin to RED in G/S where there's a big dungeon to get through and a very high level trainer at the end where you can earn a special ribbon for winning the battle.

Meh, was thinking these might have been the games to get back into the franchise but not really feeling that trailer. Can't wait to see what they do with Pokemon on NX

I like the owl and the cat, but that seal/clown thing just looks silly.

Will be taking Litten as my starter. Had been hoping for some different starter types this time around though, just to change up the early game a little.

Think I'll go for Moon looking at the Legendary.

Litten looks good to me, and not just because I always go for the fire type starter. Its black coat makes me thunk that it will evolve into something that is a fire/dark type Pokémon, like Houndoom.

The camera change looks great and makes it feel like the 3D adventure that people have wanted since Pokémon Stadium. Unfortunately, it did seem to slow down a bit and some textures looked bad, even though I was watching it on my phone.

Overall, I'm very excited for the new adventure :toot:

I've even checked to see on which day 18th November falls. It's a Friday and I'm tempted to take the day off for a long weekend of Pokémon, especially as Zelda has been delayed to next year :shifty:

Fire Cat Who Will Definitely Gain a Dark Type in Final Evolution is the obvious choice.

Oh and seal dog if you're, you know, seven.

I'll go fire cat, but I pretty much always go fire for my starter.

It looks lovely. Haven't bothered with the series since B&W (got really burned out on it, especially after they announced B&W2), so this will be my first time with the series being 3D, looking forward to it. It'll be interesting to see the evolutions of the starters, because it's clearly all about the cat at the moment. Moon has the much better cover, hopefully it has more of what I want. :oops:

I like the graphical direction.

Grass-Owl is grass/flying, which is just such, such a shite typing. Maybe it could be rescued by a grass/fairy or grass/dragon mega evolution? Houndoom is pretty good so I assume Catdoom will be good too. Flippers the Clown looks pretty silly, but its big pink nose might be hinting at it gaining fairy or psychic typing in its last evolution?

Let me change my outfit and I'm there.

I love all three. But I love the owl SO MUCH - it's making me want to drop my rule of "always pick water starter first" and just go with owl.. that's how much I love it. But yeah, I really like all three even sea lion that people seem not to be fond of, at first I wasn't too sure on it but then I saw official artwork of it and it looks amazing <3

I AM SO HYPED.

Well I was going for Moon but having seen those two legendaries I think I'll get Sun instead xD Quite like the starters, the seel reminds me a bit much of oshawott for some reason, will wait and see the final evos as they are more important. Region looks nice though.

Overall a good reaction to the starters despite Syke's earlier (and now edited out) dread face. I remember the outrage when the Black/White starters were shown for the first time - which hasn't happened this time. I like this selection quite a bit.

The seal and the owl look great. The cat looks like sly strawberry floater.
