There was a movie with a similar title to that once, but using it here would have me banned for racism.

Which is ironic as there would be no racism under FALGSC. :datass:

I actually like you Moggy, I didn't know you had such strong feelings. I was only agreeing with Albear, is he going to get this response too?

Anyway that's me done.

No, Albear wasn’t a complete twat.

I’m glad you’re done and I get to have the last word. I felt that my crown was slipping.

He said exactly the same thing! Maybe he didn't use the term 'exhausting'. Now I'm done.

No he didn’t say the same thing.

He also didn’t piggyback on another persons post.

He also didn’t catch me at a moment when I was in a furiously angry mood in real life.

But I’m still having the last word. It’s just soooooo important to me.

You've got to love the complete lack of awareness of someone who "logs off" but then keeps replying to people explain how they absolutely do not have to have the last word.

Basically the same thing happened last night too (3 times if I recall, although admittedly this was before 3 people called him out for this).

Anyway. Speaking of umitigated disasters

https://www.theguardian.com/business/20 ... -of-refund

House of Fraser customers who were promised refunds for undelivered goods in the wake of the department store’s collapse are to lose their money after its new owner, Sports Direct, reneged on the offer.

In August, six days after the Sports Direct founder, Mike Ashley, controversially paid administrators £90m for the department store group, House of Fraser told online customers that it was cancelling and refunding orders that were yet to be sent out.

However, this week the company said customers would have to join the long list of other unsecured creditors applying to the administrator EY for payment.

A spokesperson for House of Fraser said: “We cannot comment on individual cases, however the correct course of action for customers who have issues regarding goods purchased prior to 10 August is to contact the administrators at EY.”

Presumably if you've paid online you paid using a Debit/Credit card and can at least use Chargeback/Section 75 to reclaim your money.

In-store orders on the other hand could possibly have been paid for by cash I suppose.

Oh absolutely, but it's not remotely surprising given that it's Mike Ashley.

He needs all of their money to carry rolled up wads of £50 notes in his pockets everywhere he goes.

To make a fairly serious post, I'd say that the external factors causing failure are just as, if not more important than anything else. Communism, and any extreme form of socialism, doesn't work because there are inherently greedy and territorial human beings all around the world, who will use the ideology to their own ends in some way or another. I'd also say that some sort of power structure is largely necessary to maintain order, which by definition means that the few will always have power over the many, even if they are empowered by the people.

It's depressing, really.

I love the lack of awareness of somebody who waits 24 hours and then jumps back into a discussion (that had already finished) just to lay the boot in one last time. All while making up lies (3 times? That never happened) and acting like the smug banana split that he always does.

You are a banana split Hexx, you always have been and always will be. You are a rather pathetic little gooseberry fool really with your desperate need to "win" any discussion by mocking, belittling and making up bullshit. Basically you are the anti-Cal - the exact same self satisfied and ill informed bullshit but without any of the charm or humour that Cal had. Cal had shocking opinions but was actually pleasant to deal with in comparison to the mountains of gooseberry fool that you come up with.

I have too much at the moment to deal with outside of GR to put up with this gooseberry fool and I will happily not ever strawberry floating talk to you again you odious little banana split.

Feel free to have the last word here you cretinous snivelling little gooseberry fool. strawberry float you and strawberry float GRcade.

You're correct. I think Sargon may actually be worse.
