I know looking up illnessees on wikipedia is never a good idea but I suspect this is the form of shingles I have and now I'm bricking it.

Thankfully I'm already taking Acyclovir as early treatment is usually fairly effective at preventing complications.

Had it when i was 6, it wasn't pleasant.

The bug swept through my class at school, we all dropped like flies.

I've never had either which is surprising and a little worrying, because my immune system usually picks up whatever's going pretty easily, so I’ll probably get it some day.

I had chicken pox when I was little and I spent the entire time playing a pool game on the mighty ZX81.

That 1K memory  .

I had chicken pox at around 4 or 5, I was bedridden I was that ill with it. My daughter on the other hand had it when she was 3 and carried on as if she was fine, except covered in itchy spots.

Her grandad has never had it. If any of the kids in the family have any similar symptoms to chicken pox they have to stay away from him.

Chickenpox as a child, around 5 or 6 if I recall. Not bed-ridden, but I did get the day off school. Cue me using a red pen to try and add more pox when it eased up.

I had chickenpox at some point.. I've never had particularly bad acne so it might explain some of my scars, that are otherwise a bit of a mystery.

Both my sister and I got it when we were on holiday aged about 3 and 7. I don't think it affected us too bad.

Shingles sounds horrible.
