I did my bit to keep them out of North Down by voting in Hermon; but it was pointless anyway. She will win easily, as will pretty much every other MP in here. The only possible change I see is Naomi Long probably getting defeated by word of slobbering idiots. :(

I had three forms to fill in. What the strawberry float? Never had to vote in a parish election before.

Doesn't matter. I spotted my party on all forms.

Voted Lib Dem.

Choices were Labour, Con, LD, Green or UKIP.

Green and LD were neck and neck, Green more in line with my social views but eco rules are incompatible with my way of life so LD won.

The early results of the GRcade poll are vastly different (big lead for Labour) from the predicted election results (roughly 50-50 perhaps with Cons slightly in lead). So what does this mean about membership?

I don't think Labour is that hugely popular. People largely vote for them because they are best chance there is of getting rid of the tories.

I haven't been around here long enough to be 100% certain on the age demographics, but normally online forums have a young demographic, and there is usually a significant majority of under-30s who are left-wing. Its the same reason the Greens are doing far better here.

It does not take a genius to figure out why most younger voters are fairly disappointed with the last five years. The last government just saw a huge increase in tuition fees, cutting back on in education support and wages for under 30s have come nowhere near recuperating what was lost after crisis; and if that wasn't enough the coalition has done sod all to address the housing shortage and out of control rent. If you are in that age group things are more likely to have been pretty shitty.

If anything, with the spare room subsidy, they've made housing less accessible.

I'll caper like a happy imp if the exit polls are accurate. That would represent a bloody amazing result.

Could someone tweet sky news with our poll results and see if they use them along with all the other exit polls.
