Looks a bit like a trippy version of this.

Its pretty damn awesome in VR.

Not tried it in 2D mode yet, but I imagine you are missing out if you aren't playing in PSVR. When it starts messing with the colours and throwing hundreds of particles at you its pretty damn impressive.

Metro GameCentral seem to like it. 9/10.

...and it is now Eurogamer Recommended :) .

Until now, I have had absolutely no interest in PSVR. But I sure would like to play this on the kit. The game is great fun on a normal screen, but the VR mode sounds so cool.

Wow! Nine Inch Nails asked Llamasoft to help make the video for their new song, "Less Than", using Polybius!

Bought this in a recent sale for £6 or so. Anyone playing this? Friends score table is empty, not even showing my score and in the WW table it says "X - find my score" so I expected pressing X to show my ranking, but nothing happens! Anyone else finding the score tables work?

Yes?

So... whilst Llamasoft are working on bringing Tempest 4 to consoles and PC, they're also looking at adapting their no-longer-available iOS games for PS4. Jeff Minter has released this vid of Gridrunner and it is looking great:

I love the spherical (and other shapes!) versions of the classic levels :) .

Edit: It is planned that the games should hopefully all appear for PC, PS4 and XBO.

Llamasoft's Tempest 4000 is (re)launching tomorrow!

Yep, after appearing - very briefly - in the PS Store back in April, Atari are now officially launching the game. I don't know what the price will be but it looks to be a great shooter with a cool retro/modern aesthetic. After enjoying Polybius, I'm eager to give this a go.

Unfortunately its releasing at £24.99.

I'll be interested when its a more reasonable price. TxK for Vita is currently £5.79.

Yeah, the price has been set by Atari, the publisher, rather than Llamasoft. I'll wait until it's a bit cheaper, too.

Tempest 4000 is on sale at £8.99 in the PS Store :toot: .
