wat

Are there really that many people who want to keep to the restrictions issued by Future back in 2002? Do you all want the forum to be slow as gooseberry fool too just to keep it the same?

Thanatos disagrees with everything. He's like Hugo but Scottish and with more swearing.

Why exactly was the join date and location removed? Was it just to make sure it wouldn't mess up the formatting with the avatars?

It's just needless information really. Does it matter when somebody joined?

If you do most of your browsing in a work environment you should probably disable signitures and avatars alike in the Display Settings section of the User Control Panel anyway.

Cheers, I'll give it a go!

No worries mate. It makes the forum a bit drab but it's certainly work-friendly. :)

You know how when you log into GR there's a box you can check to sign in as invisible? Well it'd be awesome if there was another box you could check that signs you in in "Work Mode". You know, disables all avatars and signatures for that session. I'd never use it personally, but I imagine a lot of people would. It just means they won't have to keep going to control panel every morning and evening. Should be simple enough to set up, too :?:

Off topic, sorry :shifty:

I'm tempted to upgrade my avatar, but I've had this one since 2002...

Only just seen this.

Thanks for the love. Feel free to add it to the actual forum avatar folder...

Revel in this, Pacman. Aneurin very rarely compliments people.

Depending on how phpBB is coded it would be pretty easy to implement too.

Having said that I've had signatures turned off since I joined and today turned avatars off. They're all just needless distractions.

Makes it weird when browsing on another computer (not logged in) though. I can't even remember what I said to end up in some people's sigs.

Is yours one of the dogs from the Aristocats?

Also if anyone wants it, free to a good home...
