When I was in Japan last month I managed to find a Soul of Chogokin Megazord, so I bought it.

That's what comes from relying on the Sentai still. Go-Busters has the morph include holo-projected sunglasses that form the eye-piece. And yeah, Go-Busters also had the powers based on animals. In action, it does look better.

PatSharpsMullet - I just looked up that name, and I had no idea that was the Sentai name of the original Ranger's Megazord.

Daizyuzin is the Sentai name of the original Megazord. Soul of Chogokin is a high quality toy line made for collectors and they are all based on robots from films and TV shows.

Ninja Steel return date and legacy characters confirmed!

Tommy, Kat, and Wes are the first confirmed legacy characters to be returning for the 25th anniversary celebrations in the TV series. I do have to question why Kat is in Turbo form and not Zeo form, considering it's the only form she ever spent a full season as that Ranger, but we get our Time Force rep and the obligatory Mighty Morphin' rep as well. Now, interesting little bit from the photo is that Wes and Kat are wearing their respective colours. Tommy isn't. Do we know what colour he's returning as, or is that going to be a surprise?

I find the second article on that page more interesting. David Jason Frank saying that he wants to do a green ranger series set in the original ranger universe and some of the original rangers are interested in being a part of it. That's what I want to see. It's also how I wanted the new movie to have more been. I liked the new cast but they could have been new characters in the original universe and featured some of the older rangers who have since past on their powers, or possibly still retain them but the younger ones are the main focus.

Loved the original MMPR of Power Rangers and the general Zordon arc that ran through until the end of Power Rangers in Space. I even enjoyed the supposed "crap" 90's movie! I grew up watching the original episodes but it seems to be one of those shows where older people think it's a load of rubbish and the younger generation are only interested in the newer series' of Power Rangers.

I personally just don't like the CGI and all of that. There was more charm in the use of models/toys, the overuse of lightning effects and awful Sentai/Power Rangers footage mash-ups.

I have MMPR Series' 1-3 + Zeo complete DVD boxsets. Still need to pick up Turbo and Space when I get around to them.

Yeah same for me. Obviously some people will just say it’s nostalgia and liking what you grew up with but I feel that many of the series that have come since the zordon arc ended have been so poor. I just don’t understand why they haven’t gone for something set in the original universe again, especially with all the nostalgia toys around over the past few years. Maybe now hasbro are making future shows they may go for it. If you’ve got parents who watched it when they were young then they will encourage their child to check it out.

Power Morphicon has just revealed a new trailer for Beast Morphers along with the cast reveals.

I'll update with official images once they become available, but I have to say the cast is looking fine and I have high hopes for the season.

The supporting cast of Beast Morphers has been revealed.
There's a few interesting additions there, and while the gallery on that page doesn't show names, the social media of Power Rangers has done a good job of announcing them.

Beast Morphers starts in America this Saturday, and so the theme song and opening titles have been released before hand.

I hope it is just for the first episode that the titles are only thirty seconds, but I don't mind either way. The theme sounds good, and the sequence is fast paced but still manages to show what's needed.

Reviving this thread after a year of no use, as I'm excited! Ryusoulger is confirmed as the Sentai they will adapt for the 28th season at the end of the new Season 2 Beast Morphers trailer (or through the thumbnail, I guess).

Season 2 is looking great. I've only seen a few episodes of Season 1 on Netflix, but Beast Morphers has proven that Hasbro can do Rangers well. For the next series, I expect there'll be plenty to enjoy. Biased because dinosaurs

PostRe: Power Rangers - Dino Fury Airing | Bulk Season Uploads to YouTube
by DarkRula » Tue Sep 14, 2021 9:35 pm

Did You Know that the Official Power Rangers YouTube is now bulk uploading the seasons to the channel?

At the beginning of this year, nearly all seasons were stripped from Netflix, leaving just the latest seasons and Mighty Morphin' season 1 available to watch. It took a while, but the Power Rangers social team saw the outcry this caused, and so... started uploading them to YouTube. One episode a week for a few of the series. It's been fun to look forward to 'new' uploads every week - especially since two of my top five were the ones being uploaded. It seems they realised how ridiculous this was to keep up, however, and so a few days after Power Rangers Day (August 28th), the entirety of Mighty Morphin' season 1 was uploaded to the channel. Around two weeks later, the remainder of those episodes for the series they had been uploading once a week then arrived.

This new format of uploading the seasons should hopefully see them all up before the year is over. Just... bring an Ad Blocker. They come thick and fast.

The second season of Dino Fury comes to Netflix in two days. This marks the start of the Netflix exclusivity for the series, where we should be seeing what projects have been in the works this year. I feel they'll want something coming in the second half of the year as an introduction to this new vision of Rangers. The only project we know of is the first film of this new cinematic universe that is reportedly set in the 90s.

As for the Dino Fury, the new opening has already been shown off (along with the trailer), and I like the fact they've got two cast members per screen now. It was kind of awkward when the cast appearances took up more than half of the opening.

It was revealed back in November, but barely anywhere reported on it, making it easy to miss.
