I was confident the truth would come out eventually.

 It was showing me in 3rd yesterday in fairness.

I played my wildcard and made a load of changes. Three of the players I took out scored and none of the ones I put in did. I also took out De Gea who got a clean sheet and put in Courtois. :x

I would have been 2nd if I hadn't made the changes. Instead, I'm 12th. :x

Shelvy was doing nothing (until the weekend), and dropping in value, and Giroud was out for ages, and dropping in value. It also meant I could create what I think will be a stronger team over the course of the season. Also, you get another wildcard during the January transfer window.

I also got rid of Debuchy who is looking likely to be out for ages.

I had to play mine as well - I was going to lose touch if I didn't take drastic action.

Probably should have thought about that before swapping Yaya out for Fabregas. Oh well, O'Shea off the bench next week

The person who finished second out of the whole thing last year played his wildcard in the second week

If he hadn't he might have finished first.

My week was abit of a disaster because I took a punt on Falcao. Always the case with me, average weeks but never great weeks as I always get captain choice wrong.

I've brought Chambers in as bit of a bargain at 4.5m if he plays now Debuchy is out

I knew someone would say that

But to finish second out of however millions play it suggest it was a good move.

Playing your wildcard early is imperative, in my experience.

Btw, only just noticed that I'm top.

... For a few hours.

Yep, you basically need to get the must have players in as soon as possible to avoid losing money on the price raises.

Lacking inspiration this week. I've decided to stay away from EVE and LIV players because the derby is unpredictable. Captain Costa leads again.

Quite pleased with 6th so far. I've had to take Mata out for Sterling. Felt dirty

20 times, 20 times, Man United...

Exactamundo. Humous boy knows.

I remember a few season ago, I played my wildcard after a disastrous first week (with a lil' help from a friend :shifty: ) and, by the end of the season, my team was worth a gooseberry fool load. It was insane. I had Drogba, Gerard, Lampard, Nani (during that 6 months where he was basically C Ron mk II), etc etc. I think I won my league by over 100 points!

Thinking about shoving Esteban or Ulloa in there before Leicester play Burnley - I reckon Leicester will do them.
