Sorry gang but as Phelan has been confirmed as being in charge for Hull's first game but he's NOT their manager I can't take him as the answer for 'First Managerial Casualty' UNLESS you think he will be given the job on a permanent basis AND THEN the first manager in the PL to resign/be sacked/retire.

I'm pretty confident that arsenal will make the top 4 but I just couldn't put them in there.

Starting to think I was too hasty with my predictions. Swansea have sold half their team and look like relegation fodder now.

Ayew and Williams don't represent half our team. We've used the Ayew money to get in two quality strikers (and shifted the deadwood we had upfront) and the squad now looks a lot more balanced.

Williams is a big loss but we have Amat waiting in the wings and still have until the end of the month to get another CB in.

I'm not too worried.

Didn't you get rid of Paloschi and Gomis as well? I know it's not exactly half but they've been regular starters for you with the possible exception of Gomis, and I'm not sure you've replaced them adequately. Apart from Llorente what other striker did you sign?

Baston is signing from Madrid for €18m tomorrow by all accounts, 23 year old with 18 goals in La Liga for Eibar on loan last season. Him and Llorente present much more exciting options than Paloschi/Gomis who were clearly not good enough last season.
