That bit was hilarious. I was running out of ammo by that point. Basically ended up setting up reinforced turrets and baiting the military robots into them. That area could not have came at a better time for me. I got lots of resources from it.

It was around that point that I discovered the ammo gaining trick with the recycler grenade.

Man, I want to play this game again.

No idea what trick you mean.

I used fort/hacked turrets, blocked dispensers and SlowTime/Q Beam.

It wasn't hard - just really changed the pace/rhythm of the game away from the rest into a combat focused rush.

I didn't use any typhoon powers, so I was kinda restricted to guns.

Ammo trick is putting a bunch of metal objects (drones, gas cannisters etc.) into a pile and throwing a recycler grenade at the pile. Breaks it down into minerals which can be used to make ammo. I always found that material to be hard to come by.

I owned it since launch (Was my birthday game last year) and finally got round to finishing it last week. Enjoyed it apart from the gooseberry fool waypoints and getting lost a good few times so didn't finish all side quests. Look forward to the DLC.

You are entitled to your opinion, it may be wrong, but you are entitled to it ;)

Nah, it's not for everyone. I can understand it. It isn't the perfect game, but I enjoyed it greatly.

Got this for like £6 in Toys R Us' closing down sale and still haven't played it. Maybe now that I've finished Yakuza Kiwami.

Finished another play through of this recently, still think it is an absolutely incredible game!

It pushes so many of my buttons that it's like the designers went out of their way to make a game just for people like me. The freedom of approach, variety of useful and multi purpose skills and equipment, the often ingenious level design, the very well executed mix of stealth, combat, and exploration. It all comes together beautifully in my book.

There's a whole bunch of bits and bobs that I would tweak or improve. It could do with being harder, or at least scaling better to higher difficulties - it can be an easy game once you know how the systems work. But it feels like nitpicking to focus on stuff like that when so much else about it is great.

Three way contender for GOTY17 for me with BOTW and Mario.

It's not better than Bioshock though.

I intend to go back to this for a typhoon run. Played with human abilities last time.
