Arkane Studios, the team behind the critically acclaimed Dishonored series, is bringing their unique vision to Prey, a first-person sci-fi action game that reimagines the franchise from the ground up… with an added psychological twist.

You are Morgan Yu, the subject of morally dubious experiments designed to improve the human race. You awaken aboard the Talos 1 in the year 2032 and must uncover the secrets hiding in the depths of the space station while being hunted by the mysterious alien force that has taken over. You’ll have to rely on the tools you find on the station – along with your wits, weapons and mind-bending abilities – to combat the growing threat and, hopefully, survive. Get your first look at Prey in the cinematic reveal trailer.

Prey will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC in 2017.

So the first game was called Prey, and this is called...Prey. :slol:

Can't glean too much from this, other than Prey 2 looked better/more interesting.

So none of that trailer was in-game? Well that sucks...

:( I wanted to be a space bounty hunter.

Metroidvania? In. So in. Why didn't they just say that at the reveal? The audience would've jizzed everywhere.

This isn't connected to the original game in any way I don't think. So a reboot/new story of sorts.

Also here's the gameplay trailer.

It's... Bioshock in space, then? Looks pretty generic from that trailer, which is disappointing. Needs more Don't Fear the Reaper, too.

Since Prey was the very definition of hidden gem back on 360 I'm quietly confident this will be pretty damn good.

Nothing to do with that game bar the name. Loved Prey on the 360. Had a quick go of the demo, enjoyed what I played so far and you can save your progress in the demo so I'll carry it on tomorrow.

Isn't the demo like several hours long, or am I thinking of Dishonored 2?

Can it run on a GeForce 9800GTX+ and i3? :shifty:
