Had one since March, missus uses it for Amazon Music. Always loses its connection over Wifi which is a pain in the arse (Its sat 5 foot away from the router) but I'm putting that down to Virgin Media's dogshit SuperLOLhub 2 as other devices lose connection to it.

I think that's the current price, the email probably just shows what's going to be in it. The PS4 headset has appeared for 11.05 tomorrow, interested in that if it's sub £40 (it's been between £40 and £50 fairly regularly).

That'd be my luck. Only bought a 2nd headset 2 weeks ago! They are great though

£44.50 :fp: Almost the same price as the white one is already without being in Prime Day. GTF.

I'm very tempted by a Echo, especially as there is a way to use a Pi to allow it to handle Google Music which it doesn't do nativly and I dont want to use Amazon Music.

A dot is starting to appeal.

I don't really want one (I think) and I'm terrible with techology.

A couple of mates have them, they are really good for music and stuff like that. Personally I dont quite see the point, but still want one because "shiney". If I had Hue lights or Hive heating and things it would certainly be a more appealing thing.

I have Hive heating!
I mean I have a Hive thermostat because that was what they offered, but I didn't pay for Hive functions.

I can already pretty easily music/books/plays etc through phone and bluetooth sound bar...

I'm not entirely sure it would work without a proper HIVE account. And I'm not paying £35 on a hunch. Particularly nudged on by you. (No judgement, you're just terrible  )

I thought the Hive functions came with it free, I didn't realise it was an extra!

I don't know. It Wifis to the Boiler (although not via my home network IIRC...but then British Gas reporting is wired to internet so if the boiler has problem the get a report?) - but I think anything else fancy like remote heating etc was an extra.

The chap tried to "sell" me Hive when I ordered the new boiler - and I said no (was about £100 IIRC)

When they came to install the boiler though Hive Thermos were all that was on the van, so I got one.

It's all so confusing. I don't think I'm ready for a Dot. :(

You should work slowly up to things like 'only posting once' or 'embedding a tweet' before you get a Dot IMO.

I have no idea how to embed a tweet in a post on here.

I'm pretty disappointed by the prime sale today. I was last christmas but at least you could waste days and days looking through the deals.

That sounds like proper hive, can you not use the app or anything for out and about control, I thought once you bought it was all good and the monthly thing was on going support and updates

Who am I? Tron-guy?

Edit - Oh I might be!

https://www.hivehome.com/products/hive-active-heating

I have everything but the Hive Hub I think Errkal-face.

So this

https://www.hivehome.com/products/hive- ... ss-heating

So while it's "Hive" it's just a fancy wireless thermostat

Can we make a "Quick to GRcade" Alexa skill please that lets people say "Quick to GRcade" with a title and text and it creates a thread making it even easier to "Quick to GRcade"?

I'm expecting Steep to be £16.99 on PS4 (same as it was on XBO) and I might jump on that. Also half interested in the PS4 Kingdom Hearts game(s) at 2.15, I've always wanted to get in to those and it seems like the best starting point - £16-£17 and I might go for it. Everything seems to have such miserly discounts though, like 20-25%.

EDIT: Kingdom Hearts is the same strawberry floating price it was earlier today!
