Rejoice fellow Amazon Prime customers it's time again for the shittiest sale of the year :| .

Amazon will be discounting all the gooseberry fool they haven't managed shift this year and trying to claim it's a magical sale event and it's only for us lucky lucky Prime customers so get your wallets ready for 10th July at 6PM for the avalanche of disappointment to flood over you.
I'm hoping maybe I'll actually buy something this year but I'm not holding my breath :( .

Are you as excited as I am?

Pretty much spot on. I remember when they started doing these sales I was actually impressed with some of the offers, there would be lots of new items on there but increasingly it's become a minefield of gooseberry fool. Too many items on there that it becomes a chore to shift through and very few items that are of genuinely good value.

The sale itself will probably be naff as hell, but they are offering £20 off a Prime Membership (£59) until 3rd July.

The proper sale starts at 6pm tonight. We can moan about how gooseberry fool it is then.

I'd be amazed if they didn't, they usually drop the price of Kindle Fires and suchlike on these promos. Looked at the preview, tempted by Steep if it's dirt cheap.

You can see what items are going to be on sale just not the actual discounts so you can watch the deal and be notified when it goes live and grab it if the deal is any good.

Am I blocked from buying literally anything? Just tried to purchase my usual order of drum heads and it's not having it. Not even a buy button.

I think that's the current price, the email probably just shows what's going to be in it. The PS4 headset has appeared for 11.05 tomorrow, interested in that if it's sub £40 (it's been between £40 and £50 fairly regularly).
