Why the hell did they kill of Michael like that it was just completely completely pointless

I thought that it was a very fitting end actually. Had the other half in floods of tears and even I was somewhat choked up

Man, it's finally all over. :(  I really liked the final - final - episode on tonight. It was good old fashioned Prison Break as it should be. I'm going to get them all on Blu-Ray and have a Prison Break Series marathon over one weekend. strawberry floating AWESOME series, and very glad I watched it from the very beginning. :D May it RIP.

So that basically boiled down to this conversation in the writers room -

"God, remember all that time we wasted on Cherry Hill?"

"Yeah. Hey, I've got an idea...."

Still, nice ending. I fully expect another special to wrap up what made Sucre late to the drop.

Well I really enjoyed that. If you ask me, that's what S4 should been like and should have been based around. As awful as it got during S4, I'm glad it went off on a high note.

Prison Break Limited Series In Development at Fox

Prison Break may be getting sprung from television purgatory.

Fox is developing a limited-series revival of its 2005-09 drama series that would re-team stars Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell, TVLine has learned exclusively.

Details are sketchy, but I hear the reunion project — if it happens — would be similar to last year’s 24: Live Another Day in that it would span a dozen or so episodes and feature a closed-ended storyline.

Earlier this year, Miller — who reunited with former TV bro Purcell this past season on The CW’s The Flash — told E! News that he “floated the idea” of a Prison Break continuation to Fox and “they seemed to think there was something there.” Fox co-chairman Gary Newman acknowledged at the Television Critics Assoc. press tour in January that Prison Break would make “the perfect event series,” but added that there were no current plans to bring the Fox River gang back together.

One of those prequels where everyone looks older, maybe?

They should bring back Holly Valance, too. :datass:

Prison Break 'Sequel' Event Series Officially Ordered at Fox

Fox is finally confirming what TVLine reported in early June: Prison Break is returning to Fox in 2016 as a 10-episode event series.

“It’s going to bring back both brothers, [played by] Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell,” Chairman and CEO Gary Newman announced at the Television Critics Association summer press tour in Beverly Hills on Thursday.

Added Co-Chairman and CEO Dana Walden: “I would describe it as a bit of a sequel. It picks up the characters several years after we left them in the last season of the show. The brothers will be back. Some of the iconic characters from that show will be back. I don’t think [exec producer] Paul [Scheuring] knows exactly where he’s going over the 10-episode arc, but it definitely will address some questions that were set up at the end of the series for a new audience.

“This is the pure vision of the creator of the show,” Walden continued. “It’s going to take a little bit of a detour from where we left off [with the straight-to-DVD coda], but it should feel very satisfying and event-ized. Fans will be excited about seeing these characters back together again.”
Regarding the fact that Miller’s Michael perished in 2009’s Prison Break: The Final Break, Newman quipped that that particular plot point would be “ignored,” while Walden explained, “What [Paul] pitched to us was a very logical and believable — in the world of Prison Break — explanation for why our characters are alive and still moving around the world.”

They already ruined the season's ending with The Final Break. The worst thing about this reboot is if it reduces the number of Captain Cold and Heatwave appearances in the Arrowverse

In Prison Break The Final Break, Scofield is electrocuted to death AND was already diagnosed with terminal cancer as his brain tumor had returned.

This 10 episode sequel is set years after yet Scofield is alive?

Are they hoping people forgot about how it ended or are they going to go "lol ignore that, here's how we wanted to end the show".

Also, I share Mori's concerns about less time in The Flash.

Not even out yet and has already jumped the shark again.

The last series was a shitty a-team affair, God only knows what's going to happen now. Stick them in prison AGAIN and have them escape AGAIN?!

Last time he escaped two prisons, this time, he escapes death.

Pretty much what I expected on how they'll get round the ending of The Final Break.

But one thing boggles my mind. Why the hell would T-Bag tell Lincoln that Michael is still alive.

Bet that Michael will come away with some bullshit about being electrocuted killed the cancer in his brain.

It wouldn't be prison break if it was very grounded in reality, though.

They're probably hoping people forgot that. Along with forgetting Michael had terminal brain cancer and was electrocuted to death.

You recall the first season was about a man who has a tattoo of the blueprints of the prison his brother is being held in for assassinating the vice president's brother?
