I skipped 2017 and haven't missed it so will be interesting (to me at least) to see if I bite with this one.

I played PES 2012, 2013 and 2014 on PS3 a lot and continued the trend with 2015 on PS4. I picked up 2016 and barely touched it... I think I was a little burned out on the game. Now, though, I have 2017 and have started playing again, re-discovering the enjoyment. Online Divisions is my bag and I barely touch any of the other modes; many I haven't even tried. Playing against a few other GRcadians online has been great fun, too.

I'm with Jawa. After the resurgence of 2017, and the discovery of online play, this is basically a day one purchase, for me.

Konami has pledged the game's PC version will be up "to the standard of the leading console iterations"

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

Better grass in PC version would be nice.

That looks brilliant! I love the idea of co-op play online... it'd be awesome to try that with other GRcadians! This could well become my game of E3 :toot: .

We teaming up as Kashima Antlers then? :)

On a sad note, the Game store that I've brought my copies of PES on launch day since 2001 closed recently :(

I've found that's it's really tough to use a "lower" team in PES 2017... Nice has been about my limit. I used to like using some of the Asian teams - I recall using Red Diamonds a lot in (I think) PES 2015 :) .

This gameplay looks great and the talk-over details some interesting new features.

FIFA's had 2 v 2 co-op for years.

Photek, we really don't want to start *another* FIFA v PES battle here. It's dull, tedious and leads to endless arguments. Let's keep FIFA comments to the FIFA thread and PES comments to the PES thread. Thanks.

Of course, if anyone is desperate to "prove" that their choice of football game is better than someone else's, feel free to setup a FIFA vs PES thread where these kinds of discussions will have a good home.

Nick, as above, please avoid fanning the flames in this particular thread. Thanks.

We should definitely try and set up some 3v3 games once it's released. The information on PES league was also interesting, apparently stats will be balanced so no matter who you're playing as the teams will be equal.

There is also an open beta coming towards the end of July which will be good to try out the game, but also shows they're trying to improve the online setup.

The last pro evo I played was 2016 and for some reason it just wouldn't click. The whole game felt a little sluggish and I don't know what it was but I felt like when the players kicked the ball it sounded like a very heavy thud which was just odd to me. The video for this looks good, I might try the demo and see how it goes.

Relax man, I have no allegiance to FIFA, I was in this thread to see what features it has. Biggest one I want is the ability to co-op online the master league, can't seem to find that it's a thing. I'm not getting FIFA 19 cos it's getting a bit samey with too much focus on Ultimate team so was looking for a viable alternative.

More than likely I'll be jumping to this, probably not at launch tho.
