I've got six wins outta the past seven Online matches using Arsenal. It's cool and quite nice to get the goals and the victories but I suspect I would get a little lazy if I stuck with the "good" teams. When you use a "lower" team you have to work so hard as, regardless of a player's individual skill, it is almost an "assist" to use the great teams.

As I suggested before, I think I'll mix things up. Will probs revert to battling with a "lower" team but then switch to a better one if/when I get frustrated!

I had a game last night that pissed me off. Have played a few people in the past who did this same move; basically they run down the wing, cut back, then do like a chipped curling lob. If it's on target, it always goes in. Seems pretty cheaty to me; the goalkeeper never saves it. The guy I played last night only ever tried to score like this. Pretty frustrating.

:o . Oh, blimey, I haven't witnessed this yet. It's unusual that such an exploit has surfaced when they game has been out for a while. I recall that a few vesions back - maybe PES 2014? - an exploit cropped up where the goalkeeper could make a massive long, accurate pass to a striker from a goal kick and he wouldn't be seen as offside; it was quite tough to defend against but, thankfully, it was fairly swiftly patched out. I hope they do the same with this new cheat.

I recall a few folk here mentioning that they don't buy the latest release of the game and that they look out for the older version in a sale... well, now could be that time as it's currently £5.79 in the PlayStation Store.

I think I'm gonna take a break from PES ahead of the new game launching on 30 Aug. I've played it a lot over the past months and the next few weeks can be a breather... I may actually play a few other games :-).

PES 2018 was a cracking version; maybe the most fun that I've had with a PES game. See you in PES 2019 :toot: .
