I played I think 8 games of Online Divisions last night and really enjoyed this. It seems more of a refinement than a massive leap over the last version but a few things stood out as being improved, like goalkeeper behaviour and animations, and shooting.

My record playing as Everton was W4, L3 and D1 (I think) so not a bad start. In all my wins i scored at least 4 goals which was great, but I struggled with defending in some matches. I played against Liverpool twice and they seemed particularly good, my defenders were constantly under pressure and their front 3 (particularly Salah) were difficult to get the ball off. I lost one of those 3-1 and drew the other 3-3.

Just wondering, do you guys download the PS4 option files?

I can only find alterations for the main clubs, normally when is full premier league up for download?

I haven't yet but I will at some point. Usually PESWorld or PESUniverse have the files for all of the main leagues, are they not available this year?

Same here, thanks to 2 ebay discount codes I've got God of War and Spidey on their way. So, will prob hold off a little longer. I've been playing the demo online, so will hopefully be up to all your standard by the time I get on! :)

I gained promotion to Online Division 7 :toot: .

Lokomotiv Moscow 4-1 Liverpool
PSG 2-0 Lokomotiv Moscow
FC Sion 0-1 Goztepe
Goztepe 0-3 Netherlands
Arsenal 1-1 Juventus
Liverpool 0-1 Eibar
Gunghzou Evergrande 2-2 Olympic Marseille

I had my backside kicked whilst using Goztepe against Netherlands - my opponent ws a good player and exploited the superior speed and skill of his team - but I delivered terrific performances in those last two matches, snatching victory at Anfield and roaring back for a draw against Marseille with two goals in the final ten minutes. In gaining victories / draws with a few weaker teams, I earned enough points to go up in just these seven matches.

Just played a couple of matches in co-op mode with diceman. It was terrific fun; the play was slick and, as we we playing as Liverpool against Kuwait, we had a bit of a laugh banging in plenty of goals. I would deffo play the mode again :-).

It was cool to play the online co-op last night, dude! After playing a lot of the single-player mode, it takes some time to get used to... knowing when to switch players is crucial! Discovering the play-style of others is a learning process, too. We did pretty well, especially as we faced some high-ranked players.

Our team selection was randomised (albeit I think it usually assigns the better teams to lower-ranked co-op players such as ourselves) but I noticed that we played against some teams that didn't look the best on paper but they were MyClub teams in which the players had signed all the big names!

Great fun... would play again :toot: .

Yes those were some good games. I think we started to click more in the last game, one of the goals was a great team effort. I'm blaming the 5-1 loss on that other player who joined us for one game :shifty: His own goal certainly didn't help

... :o . Dang, 'pip, that's tough. I guess the git was one of these "internet speed manipulators" who can slow the line down and so the match is abandoned? You gotta bounce back, dude :-).

I just gained promotion to Online Division 6 for the first time in PES 2019 :toot: . Not boasting (but boasting etc)... I did it the hard way, too:

Arsenal 2-0 Colo-Colo
Aston Villa 1-0 PSG
Cruzeiro 0-1 Juventus
Man United 0-1 Saint Etienne
Liverpool 1-0 Udinese
Guincamp 0-1 Juventus
Ajax 1-1 Ajax
Shalke 0-1 Ajax
True Bangkok 1-0 Man City

Finished with a record of P9, W4 D1, L4... and as I was playing with realtively weak teams, I gained enough points for promotion without a need to play the tenth match. That final victory with True Bangkok earned me 817 points  .

Fake edit: Those goal-fest matches :datass: :slol: .

Played my first match in Online Division 6.

Man City 0-3 Wolves

Dream start :datass: . If I know anything about PES, though, it's that form comes and goes  .

My first season in Division 7 was very tough. After winning the first game, I only drew two out of the next eight (using a mixture of teams of Everton, Wales, Denmark and Senegal) meaning I needed a big score of 695 in my final game to stay up.

I chose Honduras and came up against Champions League regulars Shaktar Donetsk, coming back from 1-0 down at half-time to win an epic encounter 3-2 with a 92nd minute winner :D

Hopefully my second season in Division 7 is more successful!

Well played, 'pip! Moments like that are, for me, the beauty of PES :) . I have taken a bit of a break from PES over the past week (due to 76 and Let's Go!) but will go back to it soon.

Managed to get promoted to Division 6 and have made a good start with 3 wins out of 3, taking my winning run to it's longest ever record of 4  My rating also just went over the 700 mark. Playing as Everton though so still need another 4 wins out of the 7 remaining games to get promotion.

Feel like I've clicked with this now (though would still get destroyed by Sawyerpip  )

Up to Division 9 and playing some decent stuff. Involved in some really high-scoring games, too - though my finishing is still wayward. I could really tear some teams apart if I could finish better. Beat a guy 1-0 yesterday; I had 14 shots and 10 on target. :fp:

I find that the team you use and play against plays a big part, regardless of your actual skill. If you're up against a "big" team (Real, Barca, PSG , Juve etc) then the 'keeper has mega-skills and will save most of your shots... whilst those teams also score from most of their chances thanks to, for example, Ronaldo's ultra-high shooting skill. It's really tough if you"re playing as a "lower" team!

I also struggle to take chances and that's not 'cos I'm rubbish or anything :shifty: .

Found myself on the wrong end of a 5-4 online defeat at the weekend, with the winner coming from the last kick of the game. I had to turn the console off for a while, I was livid. I literally missed a sitter at the other end, watched him break forward, and Ronaldo knocked it into the corner. Honestly took me an hour to calm down :slol:

I have to say, I've encountered far less twattery online whilst playing so far. People spam Juve and PSG now instead of Madrid and Barca, but generally there are less celebrations, and less endless tinkering in menus.
