Also £30 in store Tesco for those out and about.

Really enjoying this so far, about 2 hours in I think. Love just about everything about it. Only negative is the button prompts, pointless, hopefullu patch them out.

How people can say the graphics are bad is bizarre, stunning in places especially Trico (who so far seems to be behaving himself).

Just finished this tonight after getting it for Christmas. A wonderful, but flawed and oftentimes frustrating experience. That last hour was just magical. The view from the top at the end, HOLY gooseberry fool!

Probably a 9/10 games for me. What I wouldn't give to have a 60fps version of this game, though.

I'm not invested in the "Ico-verse" but was there any connection to the previous 2 games that I didn't get?

Some of the designs and the glowing eyes on Trico are a bit SOTC-esque but yeah, no real connection. I do believe, or at least want to believe, they're all set in the same world tho.

So far am loving this - the controls are deliberately loose and have been since the first game.

The graphics are amazing at times and a little average at other times, but overall a sound effort. The way the feathers move on trico is just stunning!

I hope this game sells well as it deserves it. Picked it up for £20, so a great bargain!

Trying to get Trico to dive underwater :x  :x

Generally speaking, he's being super frustrating this morning  A good few sections of the game where's he's gotten into the correct position to execute a command I'd like him to perform, but then just stood there doing nothing. I swear it's as though he's mad at me because we didn't play together for the last two days.

That bit was really easy I found. didn't have a problem with it at all. Just get on Trico, and point forward. If you've opened the way, he dives under water and swims away. The second section tho, he wont swim underwater as the way is blocked and its a sort of puzzle to open the way before he'll swim.

He's just being a git about following commands all of a sudden. The section before, with the catapult action, and then a little later where he has to make a jump? He took ages to follow my commands. Before this morning it'd had been smooth going. Not perfect, but that's cool because it'd be gooseberry fool if he was robot-like in following commands, but he did things in a timely fashion. Then this morning he just gawped at the cart for a good few minutes, no matter where I positioned it under the grill. And the jump... bloody hell! He got in the perfect position, wings started to beat and... nothing. Even the section directly after that, where he leaps into the entrance to the pool, even that took him ages to do. I'm just putting it down to, I dunno, the game having a brain fart, or something.

Just caught Trico was doing... erm... when nature calls.

Even I got the trophy for it.

So far, it is brilliant and it seems like it will be my Game of the Year 2016.

Finished it this morning in under 15 hours. It was incredible. Missed a few barrels early in due to finding out things later in the game, so I'll be replaying again very soon.
Every time I heard Trico yelp from a spear wound I wanted to rage kill the strawberry floater that threw it. What an attachment you build with that feathery fella. It's astonishing what this game achieves.
