Hopefully they will both die.

Horribly.

Shadow of the Colossus spoilers...

This is bringing back when Agro fell.
God, I was so upset. By the same token, I don't think I've felt such happiness in a game as when he came back.

Excellent comeback. I'm more than happy for you to not like ICO, fella, but the point I was making was about your suggestion that ICO wasn't a game. Which is utterly barking. Care to deal with that argument?

Also: what rinks said.

I think you will go through the game trying to set the Gryphon free. Then at the end you do, it eats you, grows wings, and flys off into the sunset

Not liking a game isn't trolling, pissing people off with that fact IS.

An astonishing video.
It looks more Ico than SOTC but we need more details.
The environments look incredible, something TeamIco achieve peerlessly. Already my most wanted.

Now that's how to end a trilogy.

Who shall wipe the tears from my eyes when the friendly monster thing dies?

I dismissed ICO as being "up its own arse" the first time I saw it. Largely because I was a bit of a Nintendo fanboy back in the day. Fast forward six years to its relaunch and I decided to give it a second chance. It just blew me away. I even bought the OST!

I didn't specifically say it wasn't a game, just that not enough attention was paid to the bits that should make it one. The platforming bits were a bitch to control and the combat was dull (hitting things with a stick, WOO). I had no clue how healthy the protagonist was, because they sacrificed having any useful information on screen for the sake of art, and that girl who you have to lead everywhere was about as intelligent as a breezeblock.

Did it remind anyone else of a 3DO game? The graphics look like that era's CGI.

Charming, yes. Graphically impressive, no*.

*The trailer that is, not the game. We haven't seen that yet have we now?

Wait, Ico isn't a game? What a load of bollocks. Just because it tries to capture the imagination of a player in a different way doesn't mean it isn't a game, or can't be 'fun' (which is a bullshit argument in itself). There are tons of films that evoke the same feelings of something like Ico and it doesn't make them any less a film than something with Owen Wilson in it, par exemple.

Can you point out where you said that, please?

See, that's fair enough. I'm sure the majority of people here think you're a bit daft, but that's genuine opinion rather than trolling. Having said that, constantly going into threads about games you have no interest in just to post a contrary opinion? That's trolling.

Yeah, there was something off about it especially the little boy but this is more to show what the game could possibly be about
